yeah, the walk ins are until 2-ish i think. people just go early to avoid the waiting time, but going at 1 would be just fine.

hello all, do you guys think that SIA will accept a small birthmark with a slight bump under the left side of my jaw line? it's actually not very obvious unless u look really really closely.
i pass the skin check on Nov's SIA interview and also Silkair's interview in Dec. But as feb 19 draws nearer, im getting more and more conscious about the birthmark and idk if i will be lucky the 3rd time. is the skin check during kebaya round very very strict? like they will look damn closely arnd ur neck area?
did u guys hear of any FA being recruited even with such cases? thanks!!

Hey baubbles. I know what you mean. I have a birthmark on my forearm. It very faint and not noticeable(gaining weight stretched the birthmark and tanning evens out the skin. lol!! ). But as the interview date gets nearer, i just felt so conscious about it. Thinking that it's damn huge and kinda easily spotted
But since you've passed skin checks with 2 airlines, i'm sure you can make it! Maybe try to conceal abit to make it even lighter?
Go for it!! You can make it!

i hope i will still be as lucky though!

Extra skin growing out? Does it looks like a mole?
But i dont think it should be an issue since they have 'scanned' you before. haha. Just go and try!! don't let that piece of skin stop you from pursuing your dream!!
Yup, i'm going for the interview and it's my first time! Thought of going with some peeps from this forum but they're going at 7.45am! Too early for me! Might be going at around 9am. You?

Can any help with my enquire please...
I just grad from a private school and got a dip in tourism & hospitality management. But i have yet to got my cert. Will i be allowed to meet the panel of judges given i have no cert to present to them at the interview date?
I got my GCE N and ITE cert on hand only.

@oncesoul
Hi, if you have your DIP transcript then let them see and just let them know you only will receive ur dip cert later. You will not be denied to see the interviewers becos of this. However, if you pass through all, including the medical check up, you will only be allowed to join SIA AFTER you pass your diploma cert to them.
Btw, the min is Os or dip/degree. I dont think they will want to see your N level or ITE
Good luck & All the best!!

@FluffCloud
Hi there! Actually to go at 9am is a little too late..by 745 there would have been almost 70 people there already. By 9am, there would be around 300-400 people there.. for SIA interview, its better to go early if you want your chances to be higher to get in

hiya! it's been a long time since I've left and now I'm back again!
I wanted to try out for the walk-in interview a few years ago and chickened out last minute but now I'm ready to go for it!
Is there anybody out there who wanna meet up and go for it together for morale support? ;DD

What time you get there will make no difference, whether they accept you or not depends on your
suitability.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
