as for the debate topic, it can be about F1, natural disasters, thoughts about pre marital pregnancy etc. perhaps the only tip is to read newspaper and watch news often.
2 interviewers for e first round, 1 interviewer for the third and 3 interviewers during management round
You sound alot like the one in my group of six in the debate round. What was your rebate question?
Mine was on generation-Y
My group has 4 girls and one of them went was there the second time just like you go booted out on the skin check few years ago. Anyway, good luck to everyone going!! Remember to Smile to everyone!!
Look far brings you further

Haha, no. Havent try out for the interview yet.
So difficult to overcome this. It's like one minute i received encouragement from the people here which makes me feel confident and next minute when i look at the mirror, all my confidence are gone!
You trying out for the 19th Feb walk in?

I tried SIA last nov and got booted out at the 1-1 interview cos the interviewer say I didn't smile and I was really nervous. so I tried silkair in dec to see if it's cos of my nerves and I smiled a lot, got through all stages but I rejected them. you should give urself another chance!

huge? drop in our allowances, yes but not paycut! blame it on our singapore dollars!
Hi M long time no see you here
The drop in allowance should affect our pay by $200-$500 per month depending on your roster. The calculation is base on Currency exchange rate and hotel menu pricing.
There is a lot of unhappy crew out there

are you in SIA yet? i'm not 100% sure but i think it's 100 plus for Japan stations and 80+ for US stations and 70+ for europe stations and so on. per day basis. so if you are in Japan for 3 days you get 300 plus lesser.
and i heard rumors that SIA is removing the 1 free ticket per year benefit. can someone clarify is this true?
The figure that you heard is very much exaggerated, its bad but not as bad as what you reported . Its around -$60 Japan, -$29 USA, -$35 SGD/day

Hi Fluffcloud! Actually 2-3 is almost nothing at all.. think I have more than that. But really you don't need to worry so much, in fact the indented marks cant be filled in (tried to, haha). So when I use makeup, I just keep in light and simple, don't conceal them. As long as your skin doesn't have redness or many blemishes, you'll be fine.
As for the weight.. I'm not within the appropriate bmi ( but under). As long as you're healthy, you'll be fine.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

First post
Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
