gallenlim2002 - not true. my friend and other people i know of got it pretty far in the rounds of the interview. if they would reject people who wear specs, they would have done that right in the first round. as long as it's correctable with contact lenses, it should not be a problem.
here's a question from me though, do you think it's advisable to put notice period for 2 months? 1 month shouldn't be too much right, but what about 2~3 months?

you can definitely wear specs to the interview. don't worry SIA is also practical in this, they won't expect you to spend so much on contacts before the you get in. I wore glasses to the interview too, and just got my contacts yesterday for my training which starts soon.

Thanks for your reply, will take note. As for your Qns, I'm quite sure they will ask you for your reason if you put the notice period for 2 - 3 month. You must be prepare to ans it if they do ask.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
