mandyswts33, mind exchanging contacts with me?
I heard that the measuring scale is a little funny, seems to measure everybody to be a bit shorter. Think we need to jump and stretch more!

hi guys, i've been following this forum since i went for the interview on 25 sep, just want to share with everyone.
I managed to clear the first day of interview however i diddn't manage to get interviewed on the 2nd day because at the registration they noticed that i still have 9 months of army left
afterwards i was told that i will be called back for the final interview next year.
i hope i wont be forgotten

No scar, nothing at all. They didn't ask me back for a second review too. And no call now. My available period is dec thou. So, could it be that?
Reading all these make me worried cuz everyone gotten their call except me

Marylai wrote:@mandyswts33, if you're keen, you should go for the walk-ins. I was privileged to have met many nice and interesting people while go through my interviews.
Speaking of which, everyone I know who has the same start date as me have already received their calls except me. I think I am out. Probably failed some aspect of my medical exam.
What a bummer!
When is ur availability month and how long is ur notice period? I'm still waiting for call. Dunno pass medical or not

@darkchoco
i'm like you, my availability period is Jan 1 and i've not gotten a call from Mary yet..and the doctor didn't tell me much, but she wrote a lot on her paper and even drew a big picture of my tiny scar on my abdomen..
the wait is really torturing..

My notice is 1 month and supposed to start 1 Nov.
I think it's bad news already, cos by this coming Monday, if M calls, then I will have to push back my training date.
Anyway, I'm feeling the pits.

Hi anyone going for the SIA interview on 6th Nov 2010? Cause i will be going there alone. Hope to find wanna cabin crew friends to go along and meet up and go for interview together. Anyone interested?
Btw their Min. Education Requirement is 5 GCE 'O' Level.
As I only have ITC in Electronics Engineering (Higher NITEC) will they accept me? Anyone can give me answer on that.
Thanks

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
