Hi Guys,
I went for the 25th and 26th of sept interview and got thru everything except for the kebaya round! Apparently they saw the scar on my face. The lady guided me to meet the management again and they were looking at my scar and discussing about it. In the end, the lady told me i wasnt shortlisted. But yesterday i went to a minor aesthetic procedure and now the scar is healing..
Do you think they will call me for the kebaya round again? Or do i have to go for the whole interview process again?
Anyway for those hopefuls out there, I heard there will be another recruitment in December.

Hi, do you mind sharing the aesthetic procedure and the nature of your scar? I got one from an injury and stitching and i'm hoping to prepare my best to give a shot. Thanks so much

I really dun get it..ppl keep saying that if you are in the healthy bmi range then you are not consider fat..which is 18.5 to 24.9...and yet i calculate your bmi and you turn out to be 18.6...which means if you lose any more weight you will be underweight! How can you be fat? Maybe the person who record your weight wrote wrongly..?

I might be wrong, but that was what i heard during the interview that the next recruitment might be in Dec...
Mine was a surgical scar as well.. But mine is a pretty small one.. If yours is also a surgical scar, i suppose it's a little dent in too? The doctor use a needle to spoil the tissues underneath my scar, in a way to wake them up.. It's almost skin level now but the only thing is the colour cus my scar has a lighter colour compared to the rest of my skin.. But with the scar being the same level now, concealing is much easier.. I shld say it's worth doing it...
How long do those went for the review waited??

Hi, anyone here couldn't attend their final interview last Sunday (26/9) at Royal Scotts Plaza and was given a slot on another day?
I was not able to head down for the final interview and dropped them an email. The HR person called to ask if i was coming down and I told her I couldn't make it and asked if a rescheduling is possible. She said thats no problem. However, I've yet to receive any call or email from them.
Anyone will similar circumstances? Thanks!

Hi VanessaChau, mine's a pretty small and unnoticeable scar as well if not for the dent in. Would you mind giving me your doc contacts and the cost involved? i've been trying to find out info about scar lightening surgery to no avail. Do help!!!

Hi lele, same thing happened to me too T.T when asked the lady, she said now they're more stringent on the height. I have friends who are shorter than 1.58 in SQ too. maybe it depends on the lady checking the height?

Hi highon75,
The clinic is called Naaman Skin & Laser Centre. 10 Sinaran Drive #09-27, Novena Medical Centre, Singapore 307506. Tel: 63972833. The subcision procedure cost $200, Consultation cost $75 and Scar Gel cost $44.. Plus GST, in total is $341.30.. Its seriously depends on your condition, urs might cost lesser/more than mine.. And i personally feel it's better than laser... Give it a try! Or u can try NeuGlow too! It's at the same place but it's at level 10...
Upcoming interview on the 6th of Nov!!! I was wrong about the Dec info then.. Sorry guys! Good luck to all !!

Hey,
I don't think you should try to lose weight anymore. Based on your height and weight, you are perfectly healthy. It could just be that the kebaya does not flatter your body shape. I would say just try again another time. Another interviewer might not have an issue with your looks at all.
Or you could just join a less fascist airline.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
