babe, is good that you are from another airline becos they like experience crew. however, qualification is very important to them. They will check once you pass the 1st round. However, no harm trying. what is your highest qualification? min. is 5 'O' level passes.lina192 wrote:hi, im wondering if lets say i am from another airline crew for a few years, is it possible to get in sia even though my education qualification is not qualified for sia standards?
and do we have to go for the interview or something?

it's just some terms that the boys from singapore are familiar with due to their national service. be glad you don't know abt it haha! anyway, she only told me my training start date and that she'll send me some thing via email and something via post. the one via the post I'll need to sign and send it back or something. I'm not so sure what this appointment thing though.. sorry I can't help =/
Anyway, just keep me inform if you start your training I might need someone to guide to STC too, bco I havent had a sense of direction. Thanks in advance ya
Got the call finally.
Dear ladies/gentlemen, got the call today from Mary to start on the 2nd November. Anyone going on the same batch?
Failure is one step to success.
I was sick and had a tight chest. Went for additional test- Lung Test. I guess I failed that one, I called the clinic for the result, but they said need to ask from SIA.
No worries about the med check though, just dont think too much, it may effect your blood pressure, and chances, like what's happening to me. lol
Anyway, does anyone know about the ban? the soonest anyone can try again for the interview once gotten rejected?
Thanks

have you received anything from M after she gave you your training date? I haven't.. so I really don't know what's gonna happen next. But yeah, if you do need help getting to STC let me know
we can maybe meet somewhere and go there together on our first day. Or you let me know where you live, I'll help you find out the fastest way to get there

@darkchoco
From your posts I assume you passed your kebaya round! Congrats!
Hope ur medical will be smooth as well!
I just got called back for another try at the kebaya as well, wondering how did yours go?
I know the last time I failed because I was sooooo nervous and walked like a retard, so not natural and stiff!
Was there a time limit to find the suitable kebaya once again? That's so stressful sighs

Hello, can anyone tell me if it will be a bad record for me if I get through everything (including medical) but decide not to sign the contract due to personal reasons? But i am still very keen to try for CC probably 1 year later or so...
I'm currently waiting for medical results (got selected after getting called back for 2nd kebaya round) but i'm might not be able to take up the job due to some reasons
So just wondering if it will affect my future chances. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

They check your urine, height and weight, x-ray, physical examination by a doctor. Its a basic medical check-up. I doubt you'll fail if you are healthy - as in you don't have any major medical problems.konishi wrote:Oh my.... There is a medical round?! >_< How is it like? Do they check out for your physical fitness? For a weak/unfit/unhealthy person like me who hasnt been eating properlly or exercising at all... will i fail?? T_T
