and do we have to go for the interview or something?
im not too sure. help anybody?
babe, is good that you are from another airline becos they like experience crew. however, qualification is very important to them. They will check once you pass the 1st round. However, no harm trying. what is your highest qualification? min. is 5 'O' level passes.

I did not pass the medical examination on August. Thinking of trying again but anyone knows when is the soonest I could try again? I do believe they have some kind of ban or record right?

I was sick and had a tight chest. Went for additional test- Lung Test. I guess I failed that one, I called the clinic for the result, but they said need to ask from SIA.
No worries about the med check though, just dont think too much, it may effect your blood pressure, and chances, like what's happening to me. lol
Anyway, does anyone know about the ban? the soonest anyone can try again for the interview once gotten rejected?
Thanks

@hadnot, I sent you a PM

check your inbox!
@hopejoe
have you received anything from M after she gave you your training date? I haven't.. so I really don't know what's gonna happen next. But yeah, if you do need help getting to STC let me know

we can maybe meet somewhere and go there together on our first day. Or you let me know where you live, I'll help you find out the fastest way to get there

From your posts I assume you passed your kebaya round! Congrats!
Hope ur medical will be smooth as well!
I just got called back for another try at the kebaya as well, wondering how did yours go?
I know the last time I failed because I was sooooo nervous and walked like a retard, so not natural and stiff!
Was there a time limit to find the suitable kebaya once again? That's so stressful sighs

Hello, can anyone tell me if it will be a bad record for me if I get through everything (including medical) but decide not to sign the contract due to personal reasons? But i am still very keen to try for CC probably 1 year later or so...
I'm currently waiting for medical results (got selected after getting called back for 2nd kebaya round) but i'm might not be able to take up the job due to some reasons
So just wondering if it will affect my future chances. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

They check your urine, height and weight, x-ray, physical examination by a doctor. Its a basic medical check-up. I doubt you'll fail if you are healthy - as in you don't have any major medical problems.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

I thought cabin crew are pretty much in PPE attire during work?

It’s possible there was an error in testing, or maybe the virus had not developed to the point where it was detectable when she was tested. At least...
