Hye everyone! I'm a newbie here.

I'm Malaysian n went for the interview last saturday (21st Aug). I had done my medical check up on Monday and the doctor said that my blood pressure is low. I'm worry that they will take that into account. . I was slot into 28th Sept training date and will depart from KL on 21st Sept. My concern are; how long SIA need to inform all the successful candidate from Malaysia and is SIA really will slot me into the date that has been given to me after the management round or will they swap it to other date??

oh, to ikip84 and observer, really sorry to hear that u didn't pass the medical. Well, i believe, someday both of u will get in.

hi!! i got my call yest! i went for my medical 10th and again on 11th to do a scoliosis xray. i waited for just a little over two weeks. i guess what they say is right. if u dont get a call/letter within 1-2weeks you're generally safe. maybe it was my notice period too... im most probably starting in Dec. good luck to those gg for the interview this Sept!!

i am not a muslim and i went interview on march .


they will need abt 1 month to contact misan provided u pass medical.
else a rejection letter will be delivered to u.

hihi, have u sign then bond?

I have mailed back the contract. and will gg down to STC to sign the Deed of Covenant on 7/9

are u singaporean? i got my email today. but i din see any instruction to mail back the contract. i just reply email to confirm the signing of deed of convenant.

yup singaporean... oh oh, the contract that i meant was the one that they post to my mailbox for me to sign. it is not stated inside the email.

1 month which mean; from the date of interview or date of medical check up? Well, SIA already given me the date to start which will be on 28th Sept so, do u think i'll follow that or she'll just put me in another batch since u said that they will call back in 1 month? tq. =)
Got a few friends will be leaving for SG on 13th but that's not 4 sure yet too.

Some of my frens wud b leaving on 13th as well. We did our medical check up just the day after the interview which is 23rd of Sept in kl

@heluvunot : I dunno 2 weeks is enuf o x but that lady who read about the bond said normally it takes about 3 weeks. i did my medical in KL on 23rd but still no news till now. hope it's oke.

@QS : Hey, u did ur med on 23rd in KL? me too..wondering whether we bumped into each other. Anyway, when u'll be leaving?

My friend told me that the allowance will be paid after we had done our training which mean, we'll be paid on the 5th month. Is that true? can anybody here clear my doubt?

Wow..thats really fast. I mean 2 weeks and you set to go? My interview was on 31st July, did my medical check up 2 days later and still waiting for some sort of confirmation from SIA.. I wonder why it took them so long..

auw...that's long waiting till now. but i think u r safe since most of ppl here said that if u dun get any rejection letter within 2/3 weeks, mean u r oredi in aite? they didnt asked u to pick a date after u pass the management round?
