Yup i was asked to go to Mt E for the Xray. the thing is i didnt expect anything... :\ oh well im just hoping for the best now. its my first time and i really am surprised at how far ive come along! it would be disappointing to learn if im rejected at this stage. How was yours?
me and a friend were called up today for scoliosis xray as well.
but when we went down, the clinic staff told us that we had actually done the xray yesterday tog with the rest of the medical checkup :???: so all we did today was settle payment actually.

and i have another friend who had to pay, then go down to Mount E for the x ray. i have no idea why there's such disparities and its really worrying.

but the girl that went to make payment with me, she got the call from mary about 5.30pm today. so i'm really praying hard.

leaaah, did you get to see your xray? did the doc say anything?
I didnt get to see it. Did you? the lady just said if theres any problem they will call me within a week. if not they will let SIA process my application. :\ i think sometimes experiences differ. Did your friend go for the interview last weekend too? that was a fast call from Mary! im just praying everything is ok. im actually getting quite sad. haaaa. ok nvm maybe im just being silly.

yippee! haha yea yea that's what I understood from M as well. :) so nice of her to call me (I was hyperventilating) to explain the procedure to me.

yup yup! I linked up with him a while ago. I told him I finally found someone to share my pain of waiting with. hahaha

He's ORDing a few days before me but I'd be great if we are batchies! At least, we'd have someone we know since most of the people who went for the May interviews have already started training. :-|
Hi Aircastles, i'm actually in the may interview and am going to ORD this friday 13 august. Which will be the day to email mary and inform her about my COS. When are you going to ORD by the way?
Regards (And hi to Artsan, You know me)

Hi kindaichi1234 :) I was referred to Gleneagles the other time and spent $800++ for the check-up, and still got rejected. The process was very tedious cause i took 4 days off from work to get it done. After the check-up at Gleneagles; i assume they will send my report to the clinic at Paragon immediately, but they did not. I waited for 2 days and couldn't stand the agony of waiting, so i called Gleneagles and arranged to send my report over to the clinic at Paragon myself. Received a letter the week after and said that my application was unsuccessful. That ended my dream. After all that toruble; i went to my family doctor for a check to see if i really have high blood pressure, so i can do something about it. But my doctor was skeptical that i have high blood pressure. I'm puzzled, still... I think you can ask your friend to get a letter from the polyclinic and pass it to the one at Paragon. Your friend must do something; otherwise he/she may end up like me. Please advice your friend to do it quickly or it'll be too late. Good luck to you and your friend :)

Hi TKWS,

Thanks for sharing...My friend went to the polyclinic before heading over to Paragon for a 2nd BP check. The polyclinic Doc wrote a MEMO and told her that the BP was Normal but Paragon Doc keep saying is high. They let her choose to go either the Pte specialist or goverment one like National Heart Centre. She's going NHC....Any idea how long can Paragon KIV the case for? NHC Appt waiting time can be quite long ...

@kindaichi1234 :) You're very much welcome. Fyi, the Paragon clinic will hold your friends record till she's done with her check-up. I got to know this through a phone call the clinic made, cause someone was in the exact situation as your friend and needs to wait for quite a while before completing the check-up. But I would recommend your friend to a private specialist as it'll only take 2-3 days rather than waiting :) Oh ya, remember to ask your friend to personally pass the letter to the Paragon clinic instead, cause you'll never know if NHC will pass it to them..

Went for medical check up, waiting for call

Post by wkelye » Thu, 12 Aug 2010 3:14 pm

Hi,

I will like to check if anyone knows if SIA HR will really call up your employers during this waiting time? Cuz i do not want my employers to find out before i officially tender...

Anw, I just went for the medical check-up ytd and is also waiitng for call! After the successful management interview, I was told to start 1st Sept 2010, so i presume I shouldnt have to wait too long to receive confirmation right??

Damn worried now! :???:
