Well, i juz sent my email out to Silkair this morning. Do you gals know the age limit for Silkair Crews?

Hey Guest,

Dun lose hope k.. juz try again. ;)
hi all,

the age limit is 29. as long u are under 30 years odl, u still can apply for flight stewardess. like what the previous post wrote, sharon au said b4 that SIA recruit stewardess (age limit 29 years old).

and other posts wrote that they are new SIA trainee stewardesses who are age 26-29. so dun give up, just give it a try! :)

i am still trying... =)

Hi disappointed

I am not tyring Emirates cos I attended the one in Apr and did not make it thru the rounds with the Emirates recruiters so can't go again till 6mths later...

You should go for it, age is not a factor with them, as long as you are able to reached a height of 212cm on tiptoes, your height of 1.58m is not a problem...

Go and check out the Emirates interview!

For yesterday last interview, onli 4 gers got in as well.... same as last wk...

lets calculate the probability of getting in...

Day one:
First round of self-inoduction: 2 out of 10 in a group got in
Face to face: 1 in 2 got in

Day 2 :
Kebaya check: 26 out of 52 stay
Swimming and teh paper test: no one fail

Day 3:
management and tea party: 4 out of 11 got in

Actual probability is: 0.2 X 0.5 X (26/52) X 1 X (4/11)

= 0.018
= 1.8%

That means, out of a 100, onli 1 or 2 will get in...
Tough and cruel competition!

Adding the guys who are successful.. maybe there is a handful of 20??

For all who are trying, good luck!! :)
That's very little. Probably just to make up a class for this batch which sounds a bit ridiculous? I know a guy was KIV cause he was wearing braces. Seems pretty tight here.
what was KIV by the way?
Hi all, I'm wondering if any of you ladies/guys saw any interviewees with braces on. I heard from a friend who's flying that she actually flew with a stewardess(senior) who has braces on. I found that to be rather 'amazing'. Could the reason simply be because she's a SENIOR? Anyhow, I've been to the interview once, which is a yr back and I didn't make it through the 1st round. I reckon it was partly because I had really bad fever and throat, and was stammering when i did my self-intro. What a shame! I wish to try again now but the thing is, I have a metal mouth now. I believe I should be able to get it removed say in a few months time. Does it make sense to apply at the next intake or should I just wait till I get the braces removed? I mean, do i even stand a chance with e metal mouth. Anyone, any idea?
Oh ya, best of luck to all who are going for the interview this coming weekend. Buck Up!
