Dear all
just a background on the timeline.
26th June: Interview @ Hyatt (pls be early)
Round 1: 10-2
My qn posted was: Tell us what is one thing that makes a customer service extraordinary. @ this stage, they js wana see your overall presentation. Dont be too lengthy and talk about my father/mother/aunty/uncle. Just short intro and go straight to answering the qn.
8/10 passed
Round 2: Skin check
There is this big spot light on the floor that shines up to ur face so basically whateva u r hiding can be seen, but but as long as they think that it can be concealed, it shouldnt pose a pro. I dont have flawless skin and i depends on concealer to cover them as well. At this point, she will asked u qns like " why do u wana join? is this ur 1st time? why failed for the previous one?" even though this is only a skin check but please be humble when u speak to her.THen we are asked to do a mini cat walk. js be straight and u will be fine.
3/5 passed
Round 3: Game + 1-1
This round is damn fun. I was blessed with great ppl and we had fun playing the cards game. The girl told me that while we were playing, those instructors were looking at us. The interviewer that I got was like a daddy to me. he was loud and fatherly. He asked qns like ur previous job, why u wana be here. ur parents objections, in 5 yrs time what do u want to do. I can say that at this point, i was the most relaxed. I was blessed to have this interviewer, he really really puts me at ease
Round 4: Management + Kebaya
This round is damn relaxing as well (though i was v stressed back then) but the interviewers we had were the head of cabin crew operation and head of cabin crew training. but they are the nicest ppl around. like mommy n daddy
asked to do mutual introduction and discuss about current affairs ( Pals, please read the news!!!) my qn posed was about the vanda at the MRT.
For Kebaya, no tattoos/scars , u shd be fine.
For my group, everyone passed
Medical: this one really have to leave to god
For me, i was again blessed with a good doc. Heard the rest got a chinese female doc who was quite fierce but mine was an extremely nice indian lady. She even sayang me when she listened to my heartbeat bcoz it was beating too fast!
Got the confirmation 2 days later .
Just a humble note to all who want to try, please be humble and smileeee.
Humble really really goes a long way.
Hope the above helps!
