synn: was your tester for skin check the chinese lady with long wavy hair? did she tell you the prob was your teeth? i've failed skin check twice already. i really dunno what is the prob as my skin is pretty much flawless.

cherrypumpkin: your first try? congrats! what was the current issue you were asked to discuss on during the management round?

First round-Introduction. 10 ppl in a room, they will ask you to do a self introduction and then post a question. For me they ask me which country I would like to visit the most, whether I have been before or not.

Second round-Skin Check. This round is really scrutiny round, checking ur skin under the spot light, back neck line and catwalk some interviewers may post questions to you.

Third round- Its a team game playing, memory game and testing your teamwork skills, follow by a one-on-one interview. During interview, they will ask u many questions including questions on ur family etc. Usually this round is when many ppl will be kicked out, so u gotta do some hmwrk!!

Fourth round- Management round. Its 2 interviewers to 4 ppl. They will pair 2 person by 2 person and ask you to intro each other and then intro ur partner to the interviewer. They also gave many scenario questions, you gotta think carefully before u ans. They are watching and listening to your every ans.

Fifth round (only for ladies)- Kebaya round. Wear and model to the interviewers. They have really sharp eyes for ur posture, the uniform loop-sided etc.

Sixth round- Medical check-up. I'm at this round now.. really scared tht i'l fail this round. You'l nv know... posture problems all.. *fingers crossed*

i guess you have nothing much to worry already! cuz like alot of them say, when you're at the medical round, you're 99% with the company already. As long as you dont have any serious illness, you are pretty much safe! just wait for them to call you!

just in case you cant find anyone to share cab with you, you can take a bus there!

Bus 5 from simei mrt station, bus 2 or 24 from tanah merah station.

i failed at skin check because of my teeth ): do you have really straight and white pearlies and flawless skin?[/quote]

Hmm. I would say my skin is not purrrffecct, but basically u jus hav to keep ur face clean, with a light make up. Key point is to look freah and neat. Gd luck!

Hi all,

During the interview there is one lady. She is pretty, good teeth, normal skin condition and talk confidently but she got rejected at first round interview. Furthermore, she answer the question very well.

In fact all of us tought that she will be choose but unfortunatelly, she got rejected.

In my group people that get selected are not outstanding. I am sorry to say this. In fact i dont mean anything at all i just share my experience during the interview.

I really not sure what SIA looking for to be their cabin crew. Furthermore, all these gals, some are rejected at skin round and some are rejected duirng the management round. None of them selected.

It is really mystery.

Hey, I have scoliosis. In fact mine is very obvious if you look at my spine/waist. But I got through :) So you really have got nothing to worry about. You will only most likely get booted out when you have serious illness.

Hi! I got through the recent interview as well!!!

I thought I was going to fail the 1-1 interview because the guy was frowning & said he wasn't convinced with what I'd said. I'm so ecstatic when they announced my name. Till now I'm still want to thank him again personally. Any idea what's his name? He's the older guy at Panel C. The oldest but coolest guy there. ;)

I think skin check really depend on luck. I went with a friend of mine, and she didn't get through. She do sports & her body is good, as well as her complexion! She went to ask the chinese female interviewer what's wrong, and she said my friend need to lose some weight! O.O Nevertheles, she's trying again for the JB interview! I really hope she get through this time!!!

Anyway, have anyone went for the medical check up yet? What do they check? And how long? Thanks in advance! :D
