also, how did your friends know their med was rejected even though their cobb's angle was under 20, did they check their degree on their own?
hey pho, yeah it might be possible (at least im hoping that's the case!!)
i didnt get any letter today as well.. *fingers crossed*
anyway yeah they sought 2nd opinion and found out about the curvature.. i wonder how a 20 deg looks like.. cos my spine looks pretty straight leh.. oh well!

I think SIA accepts both types of diploma. I have a friend who has an MDIS diploma and they let her go through the interview. Not sure about the others that you mentioned though. Just that she didnt get through. 24 years old is not old, I have known people who are 27 and were still given a chance..
Anyway no harm to give it a try!

hi felixwp, you are planning to join sq?
i heard they prefer recruiting ppl with no exp becos its easier to train newbies? i had a friend who wanted to switch from Tiger airways but however didnt made it through the sq interviews..

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

First post
Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
