Re: Need Advise - Recruitment in 10 January 2010
Hello dolphinvonvon,
In Round 2, a HR officer will ask for your Diploma certificate and she will check against a list of schs that are accepted or recognized by them. Think should be alright coz SQ do accept pte sch diplomas.[/quote]
Hi kindaichi1234,
thanks for the reply.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think this has been implemented quite some time. I think is since year 2008 or maybe earlier.ssugarush wrote:just realised the contract has been extended to 5 years. anyone knows if it is recent or has this 5 year contract been implemented for awhile already?

Some ppl watch things happen, some ppl let things happen, but I make things happen... The sky is my limit!

Young lady... if you have read the many responses in this thread, then you must know that a key element in succeeding with SQ is confidence.blurcase wrote:hello,
I went for the 12th interview too! But.. I m booted out... again... My quest for the day was " What is your fav cartoon character and y"..
I knew wad to say.. but too bad... I m too nervous about it.... Gosh...
Anything u guys suggest I can do abt it?
I knew wad to say... but I m just too nervous... This is the second time already...
My scar is also another prob yet to settle..
Aihhh... I am so devastated abt this..
And, as you discovered, if you are not confident, you become tongue tied and you fail.
What can you do about it? There are three ways of looking at this.
a) You must honestly ask yourself, "Am I outgoing enough to meet the challenges of this job?" Not all people can do this. Fact of life.
b) Seems to me that you were so busy trying to prepare an answer for the interviewer that you forgot that the interviewer could actually care less about what answer you give; he/she wants to know how you respond under pressure... answer is meaningless... how you answer is everything.
c) You are trying to impress an interviewer. Wrong! Try using your imagination. Imagine that the exact same question has just been asked by a Brit sitting in 17D... who really wants to put his hand into your panties. IMAGINE that you are actually on the plane... imagine that your interviewer is sitting in 17D... imagine that he has just asked you what your favorite cartoon character is...
Well... what would you say? You are talking to a SQ customer. You want to be friendly. You want to be professional. You want to divert someone who might come on to you. Is that an easy answer?
If it is, you will guaranteed make it to the next round next time; if you cannot figure out how you would deal with me... older ang mo with two scotches in him... then you are not cut out.
Ok, lah?
PS: It's not 'wad'... it's 'what'. Using proper English all the time can only benefit you, no matter what excuses to the contrary you might make.
