also thanks to
MirageBomb, M, Abercrombie and
autumnreverie for answering my qns about the falsies and big-eye contact lens
i guess anywhere you go, there are bound to be jealous, petty people around. i would have thought that whatever little bits and bobs that can be used to beautify cabin crew would be readily accepted, but seems that i was wrong.
MirageBomb, can you please share what type of big-eye contact lenses you're using currently? if not convenient to say you can PM me instead if that's okay
thank you!

Hey! Just wondering if small moles on face and arms will affect your chances of getting in? Thanks

Hello, just wanted to share my experience. I was there for the interview yesterday morning and I must say that they were really strict the first round. In my batch there were a couple of really good looking girls who spoke well. I was the only one who got in and was really surprised. The question was 'who did you admire most in your life'. I guess the key words were 'in your life' cos most answered about celebrities. I straightaway thought of my dad, but was worried to say that cos someone already said it. I figured I shouldn't think too much and just say what comes from my heart. It's a very nervewrecking wait for the results. Then I waited for about twenty minutes for another group to come out then we had a quick break before going back at 1.30pm. The girls were really nice and I felt a little better. When we got back we waited about an hour for the 2nd round. It was a game then 1 on 1 interview where the interviewer gave scenarios on flight and also talked about my past experience. About 5 of us got through to kebaya round but none of us made it. I am a uk 6 and wear a 32 for the top. I was very disappointed cos I had a scar on my lower arm which the lady pointed out. Everything was fine until she saw my scar. I just feel so wasted cos I felt that I had come so far. So I went home very depressed. I have decided to go to the doctors to laser it off before trying again. To those who didn't make it yesterday either, please don't give up! If you really want it, chase it. All the best for those going on the 12 th!

From what I learnt from my crew frens....beauty is just skin deep.
You gotta have more than beauty to be one of them.
Where we lack in one are try to make it up in another.
All is not lost girls....keep at it ya
To be or not to be...

Hi wiwik, well my scar is about an inch. It's abit lighter than my normal skin colour.when u wear the kebaya they will ask you to put your hands out then they will check. Not the whole body. I have fringe so they asked me to lift it up when the checked my face. Don't worry just go for it and see how! (:

Hi all.
I need to know something.
I don't have 5 O'Level credits and I'll only graduate with a diploma in jan-feb.
Will I still be accepted for the walk-in?

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
