The Group Game Round together with the 1-1 Interview is relatively new to me...

I never heard of this Group Game Round before..Can someone share how is this round conducted and how do they assess the candidates?

:) :)

Thanks! It's always nice to hear words of encouragement....

Have a couple of questions for the candidates who went today:

1) Skin Check
Was it under normal light or spot lights? Did the beautician come very close or normal talking distance?

2) Is the Game and 1 to 1 round lumped together with kebaya? Or are they 2 separate rounds.

Thanks in advance! :D

Do SIA accept 'N' level + MDIS Diploma or LCCI diploma?

hey people,

i got in all the way until 1-1 interview was booted out. so disappointing and upsetting! nevertheless, i'm contemplating on trying out again on 12 december.

anyway, 1st round was 10 girls they asked for self-introduction and they posed a random question. mine was "who is your favourite teacher and why?" there were 2 interviewers. then there was a skin check, they ask you to turn left and center and right to check your complexion and ask about your skin regime.

you might get booted out if your skin isn't good. then we had a group activity which was playing a game in a group of 4 people. we had to work as a team and solve a memory card game. they didn't eliminate anyone as it was combined with the 1-1 interview. the 3rd round is the kebaya uniform fitting.

good luck to the girls tomorrow!

anyone who failed today going for the upcoming walk-in interview?? do you think the chances will be lower as we got booted out this time? or will they see it as determination? i hope its the latter. cheers!

1) the skin check was under normal light in a room, it was normal talking distance. just turning left and right to check your skin.

2) the game and 1-1 interview is round 2. kebaya uniform fitting is under round 3.

Questions questions!!!

Post by winzy » Tue, 24 Nov 2009 8:50 pm

Hey all...
Just wanna ask those who had gone through the interview today. Are the interviewers going to judge the guys and the girls in the same way? I mean, in the skin check round, are they really looking for good complexion even for the guys? Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks!!

i think so, the guys went through the same skin check round. the guys in my group all had good complexion aka clear skin without scars/acne etc.

good luck to you!!! well, it was sort of combined with the group interview. if you get through the group interview then you'll enter a room, the interviewer/beautician will ask you general questions about what you work as and your skin care regime, she might also check your teeth. then you'll go out to wait for the results.
