keep updating your skills, White, so that you aren't limited in your options down the track. This is true of any professionWhite wrote:Hi all,
I would like to know the prospects of a flight stewardess. If one intends not to continue to fly the skies after the bond, what can he/ she do?
Thanks!
Hi Everyone, shopaholic wrote:Hey silly oh wow wow wowww !!! congrats babe!! you must be estatic! I am still waiting for my invite to the interview .. don't know if it'll ever arrive. Do you think they're only sending invites to the (new) shortlisted ones after this set of interviews for ur batch?silly wrote:Hi Gust,Anonymous wrote: Hi silly, hows the kebaya and swimming test? =D
There are some earlier posts on the Kebaya and Swim Test. Maybe you missed them. This is my experience:
Kebaya Test - 52 of us who got into this round labelled 1 to 52. Then in tens, we change into kebaya. Height & Weight taken. Then go into room with 2 beauticians who will see how you walk carrying a tray, check your face, and other parts of your body not covered by kebaya, to make sure no scars. Just SMILE & dont be nervous.
Once all 52 girls finish, then will read out names of girls who are not shortlisted, so those not shortlisted will leave. 50% chopped off at this stage. Left 26 of us go on to Psychometric Test. Psychometric test no pass or fail. Simply wana know your personality.
Swim Test - 26 of us go for swim test. Simply have to jump off a mock plane with life vest, then swim backstroke to the other side of the pool. Very fun.
All 26 of us got through. Next round is Management Interview & Tea Party, which I have not taken.
Hope it helps Guest
Awww Guest, don't be a sore? Did she even claim ownership to this forum and thread? I think we are all just curious, what are kids doing in a job-seeking forum/threads like this? By all means, post all the pictures you want to and laugh over the slightest humor you can find within the pictures? We aren't here to stop and even so, we do not have the rights to do so, isn't it? I'm sure you will agree with me on that.Anonymous wrote:aww, shopaholic, don't be a baby - this forum and thread isn't yours and yours alone...shopaholic wrote:Dear Nurhaliza, Babe and replica of the very immature Guest, please bug off.
Like M said, this forum is a for a reason, and displaying random unrelated pictures is not it. If you think those pictures brighten up your day, I suggest you google elsewhere and stop posting nonsensical "hahahaha that-is-the-funniest-thing-i've-ever-seen-in-my-life" type of replies.
Sad to say, but I doubt you will ever get such opportunity to be with SIA? If you're in, you wouldn't be posting in here? Not saying you're desperate to be one but doubt you will make the cut? Unless I'm wrong and even I'm, I doubt the culture suits a minority?Anonymous wrote:If *I* got a job with SIA, you all definately have a chance!!...
Can't wait for the bigger planes to come in service.....
How about me..? Will I make the cut??M wrote: Sad to say, but I doubt you will ever get such opportunity to be with SIA? If you're in, you wouldn't be posting in here? Hi Shopaholic, the website did not state the basic salary, only the approxi mthly salary, which includes all allowances etc.shopaholic wrote:Hey Guest, the information you're seeking for can be found at the SIA website. You can find out more about the remunerations and work benefits there.Anonymous wrote:Anyone here knows what is the basic salary(exclusing allowance etc etc) of an SIA flight stewardess?
