brisk inclined walking has to be done on treadmill right? i hardly got time to travel to a gym. so i'm jogging more now. haha it seems like i'm the only one having weight issues here.tangeve wrote:Ah, may i suggest brisk inclined walking.. help me lose 10kg 3 years back. :p nv gain it back till i went on a holiday agn! haha.amandababy wrote:hahaha cos i'm fat. 163cm, 58kg! How frequently and how long should we brisk inclined walk? is it better than running on treadmill? (;tangeve wrote:Ah, may i suggest brisk inclined walking.. help me lose 10kg 3 years back. :p nv gain it back till i went on a holiday agn! haha.amandababy wrote:hahaha cos i'm fat. 163cm, 58kg! okay, what happens is if you run too fast, its resistance trg which also means u'll more likely to gain muscle then lose fat. if you walk too slowly, u'll most probably be burning carbo then fats. keep ur heart rate btw 160-180 which is optimal for burning body fats. first 20mins r usually only warm up hence no fats ll be burn. depending on how hardworking are you, anytime after 20mins u'll be burning fats. when i was trying to lose weight, i do ard 40mins of cardio everyday. took me 9mths to lose 10kg. - sound like a long time, yes. but such weight lost ll not be gain back easily unlike most pple who lose weight in a short time are actually losing more water masses.velvetrose wrote:How frequently and how long should we brisk inclined walk? is it better than running on treadmill? Yeah can go to the gym if you like. If not, just brisk walk up slop the mills, flat ground ard your estate or something. That wld do too. Speed really depends on your fitness capacity. i take tt you're untrain? perhaps ard 6 if fine.velvetrose wrote:so what shld the speed of the treadmill be? can we do normal brisk walking instead of on the treadmill because i do not have one at home so i gotta go to the gym if really needed. Thanks
