Awesome! Did you upload your own resume, or did you fill in their online version? And also, did you manage to attach a picture of yourself? Thanks!

I did post a pic of myself but then it was together with my uploaded resume..
I don't think you need to post a pic of yourself bcos eventually when you get shortlisted for the interview, they will advise u to bring a passport photo, if im not wrong. :p

i felt excited for u girls for the upcoming recruitment! i've never had any customer service experience so i think they may not select me for this write-in recruitment. But i'll still give it a try... any girls in the same position as me?
Good Luck to all!! Gambate!

Don't worry about the customer service experience part.As long as you are qualified and look like one who will be able to serve with humility they will shortlist you.

don't worry bout it. my friends who got in have zero CS experience too.. and those who had exp also went thru successfully. it's about how u pull thru the interview.. haha.. im also giving it a try, confidence waivers every now and then!

Well, dream on. You want to bet some money as to when SQ will next recruit again?
I prefer reality. Whether voluntary or not, there has been a large staff reduction because there has been a large aircraft and flight reduction.
So, tell me again why SQ would recruit when they have all these furloughed people, voluntary or not?
Was I dreaming when I said SIA would be recruiting by year end or early next year? Is the invitation for online application (write-in) by SQ,closing on 12 November a dream or reality? Hahaha some people here have to eat their words (no offence to the moderators). It's ok we all make mistakes sometimes but it make us humble isn't it?
Please don't get me wrong and if I have offended anyone here with the above statement Sirs I Apologise ( SIA).
The moderator's arguements that SIA won't be recruiting(earlier posts) was based on facts and reports in the press and SIA. My earlier statement about SIA recruiting again was based on my "6th sense".
Forget about who is right and who is wrong. The most important thing is SIA is recruiting again and it has made this forum lively.
Let's move on

Hi guys!
I have also send in my application on the 31st October but have not heard from them yet. Do you think they'll only contact the shortlisted after the 12 November?

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
