Out of curiousity...
Just a question for you Malaysians out there who have or may apply for the cabin crew job now or in the near future. How do working visas work if you are to reside in Singapore if and once you are accepted by the airline. Do you apply for one during training, or do they sponsor you and assist you in getting the visa mentioned. How does one go about in getting it?
Fyi- I'm a (m'sian) student at a uni in Singapore and have been here for about 3 years now on a student pass.
Would love it if someone could assist me in my little question. THANK YOU!!!

Yes you can do that, but how well they keep their files...I don't know. Ask your friend for the address.

I know of one British national working in SIA. However he was recruited by the UK regional office and is posted to Singapore for a short stint.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.
