wisdom&courage wrote:M, do you have any idea who are those interviewers from Round 1 to Round 3? Ex-cabin crews/ instructors?
Usually, they will be CCEs (Cabin Crew Executives) and higher ranking crews like chiefs and inflight supervisors in the early rounds. Not sure if chiefs do take the interviews now but IFS does.
CCEs can be executives whom are ground based now after a short period of flying duties and from other relevant departments within cabin crew. This explains why most of them are pretty young looking.
Last round is usually conducted by management staffs from various levels.

Like I've mentioned before, supply over demand.
Recruiting is still on going because of new fleets coming in but they can afford to be selective now.
For your information, crews on standbys now might not get called up nowadays.

EUs refer to European stations like Milan, Zurich, Copenhagen, London etc.
While 4 sectors refer to Sin-Nrt, Nrt-Lax, Lax-Nrt & Nrt-Sin. This is what we refer as 4 sectors flight.

If I ever get in, can I fly with you? heh heh.
x mintia
Haha. Certainly.
But most crews are happening outstations to the extend of undesirable consequences for some if you know what I mean.
But once again, it takes 2 hands to clap in most situations.
Anyway I'm still junior in the airline so we are here to share but not to the extend of adding burden to others, even though you can be flying for 10 years and having relatives or friends in SIA!
CCS is my godfather then!

To be very honest, I do not think they go for looks. As long as you look presentable. You don't have to be very pretty.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

First post
Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
