i was in one of the earlier groups. i went in pretty quickly. im not saying i will just give up. honestly, i also have to be realistic. economy is not so good, and SIA is not hiring as much. So i cant keep hoping and trying until i get in. I dont have that much time to keep trying..

I still have to earn some money you know cos i have been unemployed for awhile.

And lets face it, some of us may never get what we want. Call it being pessimistic. But to me, I guess I am just being realistic..
AZ, which group were u in? cos they were 2 gals in my group who got in who were rather soft spoken also..
i was in the fiest group. I think Kimberly Gin was in my group. yeah..good for u kimberly!!

Care_Bear wrote:Dear M,

I guess you made too much assumptions. The number provided actually is for cadidates to call in to enquire on their application status from SQ HR, which is for everybody's benefits. :) (Of course, with my cousin, Shirley's approval)

Guess the reason why you were booted out in previous interview was that maybe you make assumptions too.

To be a CC, assumption is a BIG no-no =)

(for your info, I have already flown with the airline for 2 years and i hope to bump onto you on flight soon)
Dear Care_Bear,

Please kindly PM me your new roster so I can change and do a flight with you? =)

But don't ask me to change my EUs/4 sectors for your turns or nightstops please? Economy is bad yeah!

For your information, I do know Sheryn personally and not Shirley from HR. Maybe you wanna call her on her mobile and verify with her? I have her mobile if you need?

Last but not least, don't assume all members in here are newbies, trying hard/positively for the interviews and trying to gain something out from the forum. There might be operating crews in here and like what you have, don't assume in SIA? Why aren't you even applying to yourself my dear?

Just be a bit more humble and you will go a long way. 2 years? You know the emergency pin number to enter the cockpit during incapacitation

Add those numbers to my "my ass"!

M, do you have any idea who are those interviewers from Round 1 to Round 3? Ex-cabin crews/ instructors?

Hey i think so, my group the interviewers was a gal and a guy. the guy looked younger than the gal. Maybe could be ex crew who flew for a few years and then join as a interviewer. Thats what i thought and the guy was more friendly than the gal. When they ask us the question in round 1, She ask the first guy whether he was ready to start and he said not yet. Then she say a funny thing like i give you 1sec. Then we start to laugh. But the strange thing was that guy, the first one was selected for round 2....I suspect that i spoke too much. The guy who got in was moving his legs abit and he spoke like about 20sec. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants and no tie at all. The rest of us had ties on. The last guy who spoke in my group was told off by the interviewer not to be nervous as he looked real nervous and he worn damn good with blazer and all. Another guy before me was ask by the interviewer on when he is taking off his braces...

Hi Zandlelight - Didn't manage to spot you! All the guys like huddled in one corner... I was in a blue/white floral print dress but aiyah, how to spot anyone when there's an influx of super pretty girls to distract?

KimberlyGin - Congrats! Think so far you're the only one in the forum to make it all the way! Did you get your medical test done @ STC too?

GaganX - I failed management round @ the Nov 23rd walk in and was told to try only 2 mths later.. but TezTez told me to ignore the ban and keep trying, which I did. Surprised that I then made it past round 1 on Monday. Hmmm, I'm thinking if it's because they don't key in our particulars into the system when we register @ STC? ('cos I know they do @ Sheraton)

M - You sound way happening lah  If I ever get in, can I fly with you? heh heh.

Well I guess what we all can only do is to keep trying! For those of you who are young - you've many chances ahead, so don't give up! I'm already 27 this year and Monday was my 9th attempt... wonder if I have keep trying till I'm 28... :(

In the past, the level of difficulties to get in is about 100% now it is like 150%. :(

may I ask what are "EUs/4 sectors"? You made it sound like something desirable. ha...
