ok hi ppl I am booted out too at the first round.
again!
lol. 2nd time alrdy.
but this time its justified cos I flopped the interview by being too nervous..
forgot wad i am supposed to say!
and staring at my finger nails doesnt help especially with the bit-too-often 'erms'..

wind dancer hafiz drumx let's jiayou again....
hopefully you all remember who i am. haha

Hey all,

I was in Group 5 for the females, and our panel was B (1 male/1 female) and male was the one asking questions.

He seemed quite friendly, not too stuck up or moody.

Our round 1 was considered easy to other 'questions' they sometimes pose to us- "tell us about yourself and why you wish to be a cabin crew."

Ah well... getting through Round 1 is just like extending the agony by 15mins more for the kebaya round

That lady was very nice actually - who took our height and announced the resuts (though poor her was running around, very flustered) and yes, she kept mentioning "those of you who don't make it, try again for our walk in next month"

So I don't quite get it... if you're not hiring due to economic issues - then why still have recruitment drives?

*Hmmm... no news from Zandlelight yet -hope he made it!

actually tdy i saw quite a numbers of gd looking gals....
but surprisingly......the no. of ppl who made it thru were like sooooo little....super stressed....

Someone mentioned that so that SIA have the luxury of picking out the best. I would say, I think I have to agree...

hmm...maybe they dont have enaf pple to make up a batch so they have this write in to fill up the space?? I always didnt make it thru rd 1 at STC, so irritating.

I was in Gp 10 and my grp got 2 girls got into 2nd rd, both of them i can say....pretty? They really got the SQ girls looks, haiz, if only i have tt look maybe i will stand a chance....

I was in the same group as wind dancer.
I would say that this time it was more justified because the girl who got in 1 was pretty, the other one was confident and spoke really good english.

I think looks do play a part. if you look really good and have that sq look they want their girls to have, then i guess you do get in even if you do not really speak well and i think that is inevitable. because the rest can be trained.

but of course if you speak really well and show that you carry the manner an sq girl should have, they'll also pick you.

so meaning to say..

hmmm.. i did not make it as well. 2 girls frm my grp got in the 2nd round. and it was a surprise to the rest cos both of them were REALLY SOFT SPOKEN!! I had a hard time trying to catch what they said. There were some pretty good confident girls in my grp but none made it. So sad!!!

this could be my last attempt for SIA. Cant keep trying la when I need a permanent job ASAP!! Sigh...
