Social work is about helping people to fit back into society.. providing them with options to help themselves.. be it financially, emotionally or even physically. Won't be able to earn big money.. but its a very fulfilling job.
He's my third bf.. haha.. and we've been together for barely a year. So marriage is still a faraway matter for us. Since u applied for masters in accts.. i assume u like doing accts? Will u want to try applying for SIA again? yeah studying's the best.. if i got the $ i'll definitely do my masters overseas too. want to contact thru email or msn?
So u'll actually try again?|Bluz| wrote:Congrats to all who went thru to the second round and waiting for kebaya and water tests!!![]()
Sadly, I didn't get pass the first round... will just have to try again the next time round.
To those asking bout how they measure height: It depends on the person taking your measurement. Like i am 171cm, the lady measured me at 175cm..hahaha... i was like telling her.. oh no!!! cannot be!! i am 171!! she laughed and pass me at my original height of 171cm...hahaha... was afraid the interviewers will think i am too tall..hahaha
To those who asked how the interview went: Well, only one question was asked. "Tell us something about yourself." Out of my group of 10, 2 got in. Don't ask me who they select.. i was shocked myself.. one of the gals who got in actually was very nervous, had many pauses, stuttered alil and kept saying sorry for the way she was; her spoken english was not fluet also... Maybe the sorries helped, because she got thru the to round 2. Totally no idea what they are looking for. So really, no point rehersing and such... just go there and talk.
Sooo.... when are they recruiting again!?!? I'll bombard them with my application again... hahaha....
He's in Arts and Social Science. Yeah la, he is quite a good bf. haha. My height is 171cm.. shouldn't be a problem to me. Just that my complexion not perfect.. got freckles. haha. I may try again for the next round.. also not sure yet.sad girl wrote:

Saw from this forum 1st round was only self-intro and will have to wait for result...Didn't expect to have 1-1... So didn't prepare.Blur.. wrote:So u'll actually try again?|Bluz| wrote:Congrats to all who went thru to the second round and waiting for kebaya and water tests!!![]()

Yep! I don't see why not! because i am interested in customer service jobs also and am looking around for other related jobs too. As long as i am still qualified to apply for FA, I try. Won't want to regret not doing things later in life
