any idea on how they will conduct the shortlisting process? Just curious on how they will do it..
I investigate things to complete my knowledge, my knowledge makes my thoughts sincere, therefore my heart is pure.

I've heard that it is an automated response so long you meet the minimum requirements.

Would someone correct me if I'm wrong? Thanks :D

Thanks!
This information is very useful to me! :)

I guess we can call it white coat hypertension haha....she should not have mentioned this while administering the test. It's still a relatively normal reading through so it's alright
shaundc - even with clinical reading of 130/80, you are not qualified to be diagnosed with white coat hypertension. In case your usual ambulatory systolic pressure is 95-100, you should be more concern about hypotension, with exceptions of athletes or children. Of coz I agree with you that your reading is normal (healthy healthy!); ultimately, blood pressure is a measurement subjected to individual variability. Oh, not to forget to take the significance of diastolic pressure into account. This is a 'theoretically & clinically' two cents from deja who is major in this field. :)

sherrielynn wrote: deja - your friend is really damn lucky. i took my interview on 31st oct and i'm gonna start on the 9th dec with her too. is she is the 65/08 batch too ? cuz i recall seeing my batch list stating 17 girls only.
hw about urs ?
Coolbb – my friend went for the interview on Tue, 25th nov, instead of Thur and she received her medical result after a week. Your notice period of 2 weeks has not due yet, so don’t get overstressed. Just have faith that you will be contacted soon! :)

Sheerie – I don’t know my friend’s batch no., but she told me that she would also start on 9 dec. haha, I agree that she is quite lucky to start training so fast. Envious~ as you might guess, she indicated her availability as immediate. This might play a part in her fast notice or it might just be luck? Maybe you can find that out for us when you get to know your batch-mates?

As for me, I will only be graduating in May next year. a long long wait ahead~ Sherrie and Shaun will both be my seniors!:) this includes whoever is going to make it in the Dec write-in interview. All the best to all who submitted or intend to submit your application! I sincerely wish that along with New Year, you will have good news to celebrate for by the end of 2008!

BTW, is Mary the Malay lady verifying our documents and certificates at STC?
