Buddy, it's the same recurrence in Asia towards the westerners.

Make an effort in the future to get a replacement if possible. It only reflect on yourself.

Are you asking about the 5 Core Values of SIA or the 5Cs club?? The club is a group of boot lickers
using the name of charity work to impressive the company so that they can fast fast promote as their work is ZERO.....Ok, not all of them there have hidden objectives, buy almost all of them there have promotion in mind. How did you heard about them?

Just like to listen to some advises.
I actually had this little birth mark on my left hand. The size is of a small finger nail. Do you think I should declare it in my application letter that i acually have a visible birth mark?
Hope to hear from you all soon
Yours Sincerely
Michelle

im already pass all the interview for SIA Cabin crew,,,but unfortunately i failed in medical check up because of the sceleosis,,,im from jakarta by the way...they sent me home last week...and after that i went and get second opinion from the doctor that my sceleosis is less than 20 degree,,
is it possible for me to tell them avout my medical check up,,,or i should re-apply again from the "walk in interview" process??
thanks
seriously i suppose anyone of us will hope to help u in this medical check up area but guess the best person to answer ur qns would be someone from the management side.. try to see if u can speak to anyone about ur revised medical report and best is gather all necessary info and evidence from ur doc if possible and oso a letter evidencing about ur situation from ur doc mite be helpful too.. GOOD LUCK!!
yaeh,,,ive already email them about my situation,,waiting for the reply from them,,,
Hi.... im so sorry to hear abt your case. Really ,i am. I oso oredy accepted by SIA. I passed the final management round. I am lil bit curios that maybe we had the same date of Final Interview at Hotel Mulia Jakarta Last August. August 11th,2008 for exact. Im still waiting for 2nd medical exam in Spore till now bcos i completed my documents just one week ago.
Well im still wondering why the 1st medical exam in Jakarta showed ok and then the 2nd one in Spore went bad. My friend oso had similar case but she passed the medical exam bcos the doctor said the scoliosis was mild. So it makes me wonder. So, if u dont mind, can u tell me the step by step what they did on 2nd medical in Singapore? And when they told u abt the result? one day after or when..?
But before, Thank you so much abt the infos...

I wonder if they even going to recruit any for tmr's open day. Considering the economic crisis and all.

I reckon it will be minimum since the company is cutting down on the frequency of some flights and a lot of crews have been rostered standbys recently.
But, it might not be the case.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
