Hi I am supporting my bf decision to be flight steward. I actually oppose to the idea but it is his choice.

hi. I have nv been to SIA interview but recently i went to the silkair interview. i was selected for the final interview, right now waiting for the day to come. As for our first interview was a 8 to 2 self-intro. I think u have to really speak loud and clear for everyone in the room to heard. And also speak with confident, that important. hope this will help everyone going for the interview. Remember to smile and thanks e interviewers. Good luck girls and guys!

Pilots doing freighter flights (B-747) will also do some passenger flights...MOreover pilots only fly in one rated aircraft, eg. if hes A345 trained, then he'll only operate A345 aircrafts. Whereas cabin crew can be trained in at least 2 rated aircrafts (eg. B777 and A345); they'll work on these 2 fleets.

Therefore, its quite difficult for both pilots n stewardesses to do the same flights together....unless they request. But they cant always change flights also as theres a limit quota...

Hi, juz wish to know is there a pilot name chris (only ang mo) in SIA?
U know.. altho we'd be most glad to help but asking if theres a "Chris" in SIA is like asking urself if u know a jane from ur school ya? And wat Chris? Chris as in Christian/Christopher/Christof/Christal or juz good ol' Chris??? No surname?? Chris Chris?
Sorry, I dunoe his full name. But the onli information i hae abt him is, hes e only ang mo in SIA captain. 33 YRS OLD. Hope that someone can reali ans me this question. thank you

Dear all,

I didnt make it through today. Very disappointed. I wish I know more people from my group, at least I can know where my mistakes are.
My interviewers are quite young as well, 2 young gentlemen.

2 girls were selected from my team. 1 of them, I think she seriously deserve it, but the other....hmmmm...not so sure... she talked normally when we were chatting, when it come to the interview, she suddenly had this very strong dunno wat kind of accent.... and she murmured so much that i had to strain my ears...but she got thru after all...and shes only average looking...

haiz...wats wrong with me?

It's very fustrating not to know why you did not make it for the 2nd round and for those few fortunate ones, whom actually made it. Luck has to play a huge role in this I reckon and probably fate too?

Paige, do you know why you weren't shortlisted? I find it strange since from what I know, they will not deny anyone a chance for the 1st interview as long as you meet all the requirements.
