hi girls me and my friend will be going for the walk in. btw, just a suggestion for the makeup. Dior's extreme fit liquid foundation and Diorskin sculpt is really good. sculpt is a line-smoothing and face lifting make-up. i kinda like it because i covers my uneven skin tone very nicely. =). even things like blemishes can be covered and its rather flawless. haha

btw i have complied a series of tips for the upcoming interview from all the prev forum post, online and my friends in MS word. haha if any of you girls want just pm me yr email! =) all the best!

Hi zandlelightz,

I'm afraid they will reject you when they screen your application form. I have been to interview a few times. Am holding a private diploma, intial stage was ok, but recently, they started to ask if I have a diploma & even asked to see it before they let me continue the queue. I believe they are starting to be stringent on paper qualifications again, as previously there was this girl who was in front of me, but was asked to go home cos she did not have a pass in her English. Another one was the girl is a Malaysian and she did not have at least a B4 in her English SPM, and was asked to leave too.

Nonetheless, you may still try and let the person know that you are on the verge of completing your diploma course. Good luck :)

Hi chocopie! I'm 24 this year too, this age is not a problem I hope so! What time are you going? I'm intending to go early... around 8.30 am. If you want to meet, lets meet there alright?
24 is so young beside those joining at 18-19!

Hi Jetset and Chocopie,

Shall we meet and go together? Hmm... I intend to go there early too, around 8 am or 8.30 am, to avoid the crowd.

Avoid dark colors, all interviewers prefer something towards pale colors like baby pinks, baby blues, if you really wish to go to the extreme, can try yellow.
the 1st shirt i wore was a baby pink top but with fluffy sleeves. (my mom calls it the princess shirt) and a pencil line skirt.

As for my management round, i wore a 1 piece dress.

you can get ideas from the store "joop" , "bega" , "bysi" . I dunno but they tend to have pretty easy yet formal bottoms and tops.

and perfume - never spray something thats way too strong, or way too flowery.

I've posted up a list of what to wear, what to do in the previous pages, go check it out.

ok found it, its on page 765

it's amazing how just early this year i was talking about the same things as you guys in this forum and being so excited and now i'm already flying. it's good to be enthusiastic and stuff but please do think about the cons too. i entered with rose-tinted glasses and now i see things clearer. it's still a good job; don't get me wrong. just be prepared to deal with the darker side of things =)

Paper qualification is important when applying for EP . Otherwise MOM wont even reward u one. Thats why they place importance in this. Cant blame the SQ HR. Ohh yah..this only applies for foreigners.
