Plavt is one good "ang moh' who is trying to help the wannabes.I know to the extent he has gone trying to assist. You ppl out there should listen to his advice.Plavt wrote:Don't even bother QRM, it is a waste of time trying to help so many here who are clearly smug, arrogant, conceited and unwilling to admit or be told their shortcomings even when one's efforts are well intentioned! No doubt a good many here will think I am just that 'bloody ang moh' who will not mind his own business. For those who fall into that category, be it on your own head!QRM wrote:
Maybe she got through because she can spell correctly? Nothing personal AS, I mean what does ferst, rilli, rite, and shldve mean ? If you cant be bothered to write the whole word out or use a spell check, then it gives the impression you are lazy or thick. Not the sort they are looking for or I want to fly with should an emergency occur.

[quote="artificialsweet"]Hi everyone, I am new here but i've been reading a lot of posts in here for quite sometime..
I went for the interview also tis morning at 9am, n got booted out at 1st round.. in my batch, only 1 got in.. she's tall n slim, n her skin look flawless.. but, her self intro was rilli short n she was like clenching her fist.. i wonder what the interviewers are looking for..
Ooh i know which girl you're refering to. She is really pretty. I hope she got through the 2nd round. Does anyone know what they are looking for in the 2nd round? I've got no scars and am 45kg, 1.58m.

Good day to forum mates!
Perhaps to begin with, I have been a vivid reader of forums in recent months but yet to subscribe and reply to any. I must say however, it is heart warming to have aspiring, current & past aviation crew to take time and share constructive views on the many questions. Many atimes we see motivating forum mates advocate determination. Follow your heart despite rejection for those who are contemplating and yet to do so, not forgetting those who made attempts.
As mentioned, many are uncertain of the recruitment officers criterias. *Viper, buddy of mine is 29 (if i recall) and he was skeptical as well but not penning the application meant his chances is bleak. I gave him the word and accompanied him; there he is now. *Stripes, make another attempt, don't fret. On contrary, ease yourself for the next round, take pace and am certain every phase will prove seamless.
Pardon me as I chanced upon the recent post by our two mates. To all out there, push on if your passion speaks of a crew. A short prayer completes the progression as our friend up there will watch over us!
Cheers.

i got interview this 31st 2.51pm...wat a weird timing...
anyway, my friend got the offer last month, her interview was in malaysia, walk-in interview, heard from her about 600+ go for the interview and only 7 selected including her.
however, she could not take up the job in the end coz she failed the medical check up... what a pity ...

So I guess I've to try after I graduated..
(I went to a walk-in interview with my friend a few months back and I asked the staff over there when can I actually go for the interview.. She told me when I'm going to graduate or into the last term of my course I could give it a try.. Now I'm doing my last term for my degree course, wonder if I can try for the walk-in interview..)
