FS $3500- $5000
LS +500 frm FS
CS +1000 frm FS
IFS +2000 frm FS
As the pay is highly dependent on the flts one's do every month, the final increment also varies with +- $1000

thanks for the clarification, lovely shan!
im now in a dilemma as to whether i should attend the coming interview or wait for the next one since im only graduating in dec. someone mentioned that most girls do not pass through all rounds of the interview at their first try so its good to 'start early' (which i agree!) however, suppose im so lucky that i got selected on my first try, will i be rejected or blacklisted because of the 3 months' notice i require?

hi, just checking around, anyone who passed the test actually gave 1 month or more notice period?
currently im working now, so i would need to give 1 months notice IF i do pass the test.
however, most of my friends who got thru, all gave immediate notice. does that mean 'immediates' have higher chances of getting through??
let me know!

you should give it a shot. during my management round i asked how long can the 'offer' be kept opened for and they told me 6 months. moreover, its mentioned on the website that those who are graduating by mar 09 can also apply.surfsiderose wrote:thanks for the clarification, lovely shan!

hi i'm new here!
i've been wanting to try out SIA but didn't have the courage too. it sounds really scary reading that people get booted out very often in the first round.
i feel like trying out the walk in on 21st sept. my boyf's objecting to it. cos he's in army. and if i really get thru, i wouldn't be around in sg most of the time. should i pursue my dream or ...?

i think your boyfriend is selfish, by asking u not to try SQ interview. Will you be happy by working in office 9 to 5 hours, office politics, arrow and do work that you dont like, does that translate happiness to your bf?
For me, i am happy to try SQ as my girlfriend strongly support me as it is my dream job.
Go ahead pursue your dreams, your dream job.

that is being selfish. hes not going to be in army forever. this is a once in a life time experience. go for it.amandababy wrote:erm, he's not exactly selfish. he did told me to go try out if i want to. but he said that we won't last
but well, it's difficult to get thru. so maybe i'll just try out.. argh.. dilemma!
anyway, making the rltnshp work shld not be just ur responsibility. he shld make time to meet u on ur off days as well. and qte frankly, if u guys cant survive something like this, the likelihood of lasting thru marriage is low too
