I submitted all those long ago. However i applied for write in before. Hence this was written below the page i logged in:
"You have applied for this position. No actions can be taken on this position at this time."
Any others encounter the same problems?

I've heard of some cattiness going on amongst the stewardesses. Especially between the seniors and the juniors. Heard that some of the juniors even cry because of that. Is it really that bad?

Hi...I received an email saying i'm shortlisted for an interview this fri (29th Aug)..But when i sent my application form a few weeks ago, i mentioned that i've got 2 years b4 i actually graduate..Do u think they read my mail? or they just auto reply? But this is not the normal "sunday walk in interview"..This interview is at the training centre...And they said "shortlisted"..i'm afraid if i go,then they will say it's too early for me...But if i dun go, i might miss a chance...

it's the same procedure for walk-in...
and the email is auto-response...
you still have to go through all the steps...and the interviewers in satc are the 2 women who are diff to handle...lol

So you think at the end of the day they will still say it's too early for me to go right...

eh honestly speaking...i think it's too early for u to apply for the job. cos they do state on the website "applicants graduating by Feb 2009 may apply..." if you haven't graduate by then I guess it's too early.
if you really want to fly so much, why not take this time to find out more about the job, work in e service industry for a part time job to get some experience and etc?
haha, but on another note, if you don't find it a waste of time, you can jus go for e interview! get a feeling of how it is like... it's an experience after all.
my 2 cents worth.

hi all~ i'm new here.. been watching this thread for the past one month or so.. and i've finally decided to join in the fun! i'm a wannabe myself... but i've got multiple problems, the most severe being my horrible skin... i don't know what are my odds even if i could get my skin to clear up through medication..
envious of those who are already trying!

Hi pork12,
Welcome to the big family here. Firstly, are you a male or female? Since you mentioned that you have severe skin problems, have you done anything to it yet? Consult skin specialist, use recommended products, doing regular facials. In the midst of it, you can take the time to explore & educate yourself with the airline's information, if you are genuinely interested in it. When you have better skin & meet the requirements, then give your best shot. Good luck!

Hello, I'm a new newbie too.. but m really keen to join SIA. been booted out a few times at the kebaya rd.
saw many posted in this thread tt write in is much more easier den walk in. Which is more advisable to send the resume? email application to
[email protected] or to apply for the job directly at the website? thks so much.

well... one thing is that u have to fill in your qualifications on the app form, and when you're graduating... so chances are if the interviewers see your graduating date... it'll be almost like game over for you for the interview... so i think that even if you have all the luck with u, it's not that easy to pass since u still have 2 years to go...

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
