SIA 7th Aug 2008 interview

Postby xia0JS » Mon, 04 Aug 2008 11:48 pm

Hi. I have a question. Today in the afternoon I just submitted my online application via SIA website.

And I received an email to go down for an interview on 7th Aug at 9.30am.

Is it that they just auto-generate email to go down for interview? It's like I received the email at around 11.30pm~ So late...

They don't read through what we write before asking us to go down?

Does it matter if it's auto generated or not? Count your blessings for getting the slot while many others might not? Try your best at the interview and if not convinced, do email them that you're not attending. :)

I am also in 11am slot. But still thinking whether to go anot...

There is a bus stop near to STC. Can take bus no. 2 or 24 outside Tanah merah MRT station.

It is my xx times try already. Very tiring to go all the way to STC and in the end fail at round 1. Super sad.

ahemrmompmlhaaniez wrote:yes. There's no mrt station around there even the nearest bus stop oso quite far. It's better to take a cab.
any1 is 11am slot?

Mouse, if you don't even try, the chances are zero. :)

Goodluck to all whom are attending the interviews. Don't attend the interview to make up the numbers while make the difference in your life if you really want the job. There isn't any but, if or what if but only your self motivation and determination which will determine the outcome for the day or even your life.

Best of luck once again. :)

Hi cc05,

How's training so far? :)

Can I check with you whether there'll be any training on saturday?
If yes, is it going to be a full day or half day training?

Thanks

hello...

I went for the interview today. I'm going for my management round 9.15am on thursday. The passing rate was a tad better than walk ins, i think. Out of 9 girls 3 got chosen. Then 3 of us passed skin check (which i think would never happen in walk ins). One girl failed 1-1, and i dunno what happened to the other girl cos i left before she came out. Skin check was much simpler than in walk-ins, cos you just simply walk up and down, and the assessor will look at your skin. No spotlights! No questions! The procedure was much shorter :)

What i noticed from previous groups was that they chose 3 from each group of 8 or 9. So i don't think the passing rate was extraordinarily good or bad. good luck to those going on thurs! :)

Hey I'm happy for you.

I'm quite worried for my interview on 7th Aug though..

Was booted out once last year during walk-in...

Hmm..
