Hi double e,
But are you singapore or a permanent resident? From what i know from the SIA web, only permanent residents may mail their application through email. So i was wondering if they'll entertain Singaporeans or not?

Yes. u can try sending in your resume and see whether they replied. Who knows they might even ask u to go for an interview on 2nd july too.

i dont think so.
cuz for july 2nd interviews will be done at the STC, which perhaps maybe will b a little more lenient and easy going?
=)
btw, thanks double e for your time in answering my doubts!
just one last query:
when u(double e) send in ur online application the week before 22nd walk-in, u merely just send in with the attached application form and attached resume? but what do you write in ur email to have attracted their attention in continuing to open your attached files??
thanks.

More or less the same. The difference is that you would not need to wait so long. If you are shortlisted for their write-in interview, an email confirmation will be sent to you, stating the time and venue (STC).

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

SIA Crew

First post
Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
