Hi Eneres,

Likewise, I also have to serve a month's notice. However, I went for the walk-in on 27 April and have yet to receive their call.

I think you should not tender until you have received a confirmation from them on your training date.

Actually you won't be expected to tie a chignon nor don red nail polish, lipstick & blue/brown eye makeup until the grooming day of your training which'll probably be during your 1st wk... :)

Coz it's not till then that the groomer will let every girl know which makeup shade & hairstyle they suit.
Apparently some girls with long hair may just be asked to crop if the groomer feels that they look better with short hair, and vice versa too... :D

I asked the same qn not long back too. Most girls leave their hair down, tie half or neaten their fringe on the first few days but no harm bunning up your hair coz there might just be one or two in the class who do so anyway.

Which batch no. are you btw? :)

From worrywart Anyway just to share with you my experiences at the interview, the first two interviews i went for i was kicked out both times at the skin check round.. i think it's because i have some slight scarring on my lower arms that is not covered by the kebaya..

For the 3rd interview i decided to conceal them, and when i saw that the beautician keeps asking me to turn my arms to look at the scars, i decided to mention that im seeking some treatment to remove them.. so i think that helped me to pass that round..

Haiz...I failed skin check for d 3rd time. :o The interviewer asked me what I have done about my skin. Then, I honestly told her I am receiving laser treatment, medicine and watching my diet for my face and scars....... .... ...BUT maybe I wasnt gd enuff.

Quoted From Yashiaki

We were told to walk in a str8 line towards the invigilator and stop about a metre from her. Stretched out our hands to check for visible scars and tattoos and some simple Q & A.

Again the dreaded wait. Came the news, out of the 7, only 4 managed to make it to the next round. (My mate and I were still in contention)

Dear Yashiaki
Any idea why are the other three were being booted out at this round? What questions are being asked?

Hi renn,

I also think of trying in KL. I am a singaporean and tried more than 10 times and the furthest I got thru is at round 3. I think no use cos' the website states for M'sians in the upcoming walk-in at KL.

But again, I also feel it is unfair that SG walk-in, m'sians can apply. If you call, can let me know ? Add me in msn : [email protected]

Thanks

Hey Summers,

Its a 1 on 1 interview, so there's no indicative signs as to why they were dropped (like I was asking myself why was I dropped at management). Thus is really hard to say.

The tip would be to answer truthfully as best as you can in the witiest manner. It does help if you ace your oral as well I guess :)
