never-ever say "i jus want to try my luck", "just to see how far i can go"
There was a gal in my grp uring march said exactly what u wrote...haahaa and she got selected.
But she only said that in the ending...the rest of her presentation was actually quite good.

I did went for the interview at Sheraton yesterday.
Surprisingly, when they measured my height, I was told that I am only 157.5cm , trying my luck, I asked that lady whether I could be given the chance to go through the interview but was being declined.
*sigh* so much of preparation and confidence, not to mention the waiting time, and didn't even get to speak
Do you all think that I should try again?
TIA~
yes yes u should. haha trust me. they took my height 157.5 b4 too haha
Hi rainschoolate, Thank you
Hope everything will go smoothly the next time when I try again.
If not I have to find methods to grow another 0.5cm .. hahaha

Hi.. I went for the walk-in last Sunday. It was my first try and i got booted out at the kebaya + skin check round.. actually i pretty much anticipated the outcome, coz i had two 'new' pimples on my face which came at the wrong time (tried hard to conceal, but their lights are power!) and darkened spots on my back.. but I'm still quite happy to be able to don the kebaya for awhile..haa..
Rainschocholate, I've read your posts and you were saying tt you've got bad skin.. I also have some darkened spots/ance scars on my back bcoz of my itcy hands (soo regret tt I scratched them last time!!). In the posts on previous page, llentimes n you were mentioning abt this chemical peel thing. May i ask does the chemical peel helps to lighten scars or remove scars completely? I think i really need to do something to my back. Most importantly, where did u get your chemical peel done? Hope you can share with us..or perhaps you can pm me the details?
Thanks in advance!

i got booted out at kebaya as well. I'm not sure if it's because of my pimples, my pox marks.. my vampire fangs or the scars .. =(
sounds like a need a chemical peel for my entire body.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
