yingying : thanks for ur generous info ... got a couple of ques .. is the length of bond still the same ie 22 mths ? jus dat ours 2.5 mths trainin , 19.5 mths flying ? does the bond penalty start on 1st dae of trainin or on 1st dae when we start flying ? am gg ahead with my dream of flying but its better to know wad to expect

i also heard that we got to wear the kebaya for trainings?
is it true? like gotta bun up your hair, the standard makeup and wear kebaya for the trainings?

Hi, im a newcomer here..
i was wondering cos i have braces now and will be removing ard 3 months time. Therefore can i go to the interview now? will they reject people with braces on?

Hi Lissy, they will usually tell you to try again only after you remove your braces, if i recall correctly they no longer give you "grace period" as compare to last time.

A girl i met during the march walk-in actually had those transparent braces on and she passed her interview!

Im sorry if u think that i was being rude..but i think u reli din do much of homework..wht requirement to be a cabin crew? u can go to their website n have a look at it..
www.singaporeair.com and search for cabin crew. u will find wht u wanted to know thr..
second, wht to prepare? in ur opinion, wht do u think u should prepare? prepare urself..n read up about the company..juz like any other interview..u need to know about the company before u wana attend their interview..rite?n jz in case if u wana know abt the interview question that they asked before, tyr to read this thread from page 1000..u will get it..

my braces isnt transparent...
i realli need to go to the interview asap cos i got offer a job which isnt bad but requires me to sign a bond with them.. however my heart is with SIA.. ahhhh...

Probably u can try ur luck next week? and see what the interviewers say then make ur decision about your current job offer?
I also faced a similar dilemma too..
but i accepted my job offer and its like 1 mth since my interview and now im still waiting for my medical clearance! sigh
its highly uncertain!! so better play safe..hehe

When will you be removing your braces? Perhaps you can tell you can let the person know, and see what they can do about it?
