okok. thanks for the info provided. But she will only getting her cert in may. Do you think sia will still accept her transcript during the interview?
yup...as long as you can provide information that you are waiting for your cert, but they will need your cert before you can sign anything if you do not have the required Os credit.

Hi
For those who're starting in May, does anyone know when we'll receive the email asking us for all our particulars? Also, does anyone know when they'll contact us asking us to go down to sign the bond?
THANK YOU ALL so much for your help!

Hihi fiefie I have received the call from Mary recently to confirm my training date. Mary was also telling me that she will be sending me an email by end of april to let me know about the singing of bond and other details. However some gals said that Mary told them a different set of instructions.... Anyway I am still waiting for the letter. Most probably will be receiving soon. By the way when is your training going to commence?

fiefie, the email they'll send will let u know when you are to sign the bond and things u need to do before signing the bond. Note that it will be wise to check yr junk and bulk mail mailboxes cos the email doesn't have a sender so it may end up there and miss it. I nearly did.

renn, you should just give it a shot. you can 'reserve' your training spot for a good 6 months should you pass everything.

I think if your notice period is longer than 6 months, you will have to go through another review before they hire u. It is something like a management interview.
They are pretty strict in their kebaya and skin check round, with many of us unsure of what do they look out for in the candidates. All the best for your walk-in interview =).

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
