hey you guys who have just gone for the med, not to worry! it usually take about 1 week or so for them to call us, with those who can start immediately getting the call first =) so what's the notice period you guys put down?

superpinkystar, thanks for updating. Just checked my mail. Nothing.. Maybe soon.. I'm starting 10 April! My supervisor agreed to let me leave! Still gave me a week to relax before starting.

Briefing on our salary n allowances. basic not attractive, it's the allowances that's fat! gave us 2 forms to fillup, bank info n stuff. after which they call up 1 by 1 to check thru our certs after which we can go.

val, relax! (i know it's difficult) you should be getting the call today or tomorrow. Increase the vol of yr ring tone and bring it everywhere you go! They seem to call very early in the morning 9+ or 4-5 in the evening.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
