i think MDIS is recognised. There was this PRC girl at my mgmt interview who just grad from MDIS. Hope this helps

I failed my management on Feb24 so I was banned from attending the interview for 3 months.I did not go for the march interview cos I decided to wait after my ban.So for march intake,there werent a lot of guys attending the interview?if so,SIA is still picky as usual huh....They never say anything pertaining the 3 months ban to you?[/quote]

dear summer i failed the mgt on 24 feb but no ban... til i failed 16marc mgt den got 2 month ban.. but well i will still be goin for the coming one ... lets go!

Mine from local diploma, Temasek poly but i onli have 4 O levels....Coz my course required less than 5 credits of Os' as its part time basis...u think they allow tat??

i juz grad from local poly.. only got 6 credits in O levels but no english. >.<
even they look into the highest qualification, they still want your O levels.

so you just try the interview recently kimiekit? so no matter what still required Olevels even though you have diploma.

it doesnt matter if u failed your Os as long as u got a diploma... a few friends of mine got thru without Os also, just that they have to wait for their transcript and diploma from the poly to submit to SIA

i'm waiting for medical clearance and signing of bond too.. do update if u girls receive the call k? i wrote immediate notice period so can't wait to start training asap! hee

would also like to share my interview experience for aspiring FA.. pls don't give up! it's really about luck, and of course, the determination and perserverance.. i've failed mgt before n was totally devasted when it happened.. even wanted to give up at one stage! in fact, i wasn't feeling too well when i went for the recent March intake but somehow, made it through of all times..

Some tips for final interview:

- anticipate questions and sleep early the night before
- wear light colors, be as well groomed as u possibly can
- keep SMILING all the way!!

- speak proper English
- befriend the interviewers as though u were chatting to a new friend (of course, in the most polite manner).. make them laugh if possible :p
- let them know how badly u want the job, how much u have prepared, and how committed you will be if u ever get the chance to fly
- stay humble and composed
- show that u are service-oriented.. willing to go the extra mile for excellent service etc
