For your chicken pox scar, I have no idea how it look like, but u shld conceal it as well. Maybe you can try doing some treatment to remove it??
U shld just conceal as much as possible and do your best okie!

thanks for your wishes, Good luck to u as well.
hey there,
no worries about the acne scars. i used to have very bad acne till i went to national skin centre to seek medical help. now, i am awaiting for training to start.

my advice to you is to be confident and SMILE! do not keep thinking about the acne scar, they can sense if you are getting very conscious.

try using BB (Blemish Balm) creams which you can find at Skinfood or Missha, it really works wonders! skin looks very natural.

i am a very huge fan of it.

I think they r particular about any part that can be seen with their uniform on. Most impt you must conceal well and look friendly. Thanks for your wishes.

So far SIA is doing recruitments every month. They should have it in april.

hey babe,
yeap i was on Doxycycline too.
:D
that really helped me alot. Besides that, he gave me 3 types of cream to make sure that my acne fully recovers. if i was not vain and went for the cleo photoshoot, i would not have suffered a bad acne outbreak. argh!! dirty brushes!!since then, my acne has not returned.
:D

however, my scars are still there. which is why i still need to go for chemical peel at the end of the month before training begins. doctor also advised me against sun tanning. :( i hate being so fair... argh!!

BB Cream is not really a concealer, it's like tinted moisturiser with some SPF in it.apply it before using your foundation. it's the current craze in korea now. apparently helps to lighten scars and blemishes. flying off the shelves back home.

with regards to the neck area, i guess they will check your overall appearance. i rem there was this girl who so nervous during the kebaya round, she broke out in rashes. whole collarbone area turned red.. i dun recall if she got in though.

hope all these helped.
:D

GAMBATTE TO THOSE PEOPLE TRYING TOMORROW!

hello hello superpinkystar,

I'm doing good here... everyday look at calender and keep counting down how many more assignments, tutrials and exams that I've to go through before I can start training.... wahahaha.... :D
haizzz... still most importantly, I've to pass the exams! :o

your training days are crawling nearer, heh? 2nd April.... so fast.... 8-)
Probably when you're abt to graduate... I will only get to start my training... wahahhaha... :D

If you've time, pls update us on your training,k?
I'm sure many ppl here would love to hear what it's like during the training....

Hey... can you do me a favor, pls? :)
When you've attended the grooming class.... could you pls help me to ask whether an FSS is allowed to dye their hair wif bright colors? (bright brown and some combination of yellow --> sounds lian, heh? wahhaha....)
and to perm their hair?
Coz i want to perm + dye my hair.... if they dun allow, then i dun wanna waste my $$ to do dat... coz no point for me to have my hairdo and by a few mths time later, I've to fork out $$ to get rid of it.... :?

hi! from what i read from wikipedia (yes, of all places haha) FSS can only dye their hair dark brown or black, aka natural colours. no highlighting allowed. as for perming, im not sure if it matters cos the hair will be bunned up anyway.

Here are some of the rules and regulations they must follow.

The airline requires flight attendants to color their hair black or dark brown. The airline does not allow for flight attendants to use highlights.
Flight attendants with long hair coif their hair into buns.
Flight attendants wear short hair above their collar lines.
Fringes (bangs) of flight attendants do not touch eyebrows.
No fanciful, dangling earrings allowed. Only studs or pearls. No chains and necklaces allowed.
Only simple bracelets and rings can be worn.
Only small and simple watches can be worn.
A spare kebaya must be brought for every flight, even short one-hour flights.
Safety shoes, or covered sandals must be worn during takeoff and landing. At other times, she should wear the batik slippers.
Toenails must be of the bright red colour prescribed by the company. If her toenails are not painted, stockings must be worn to substitute for the non red toenails.
Eyebrows must be shaped, and cannot be the fake drawn-on or tattooed types.
Eye shadow must be of the color prescribed by the company - either blue or brown, depending on skin tone.
Lipstick colour must be among the few shades of bright red prescribed by the company. Pink or plum colors are not allowed.
Nail polish must be of the bright red colour prescribed by the company. Nails should not be chipped.
