You will only be paid the basic pay as there is no other allowance that you can claim.

not sure if anyone else can clarify?
I have not met or heard anyone who get in at age 30 or more, but you can alway try as long as they don't set any max age just make sure that you know what is your future plan after you quit or retire at age 45

And I got another question, if I were to try again this coming 16th, will they be biased against my application since i jus got booted out in Feb.. Feb is my 1st attempt.. any advice?
hi! dont worry about being booted out in feb. i tried for it last dec and got booted out in the skin test (too little sleep, too many pimples haha) but i tried again in feb and got in! waiting for training schedule now. but they did ask me at the kebaya round why i got booted out last time and i just replied honestly that i just finished exams last dec so i had lack of sleep, thus failing the skin test. and i told them how i improve on my condition (sleep earlier). and i got through the skin round! they asked again in the management round and i said the same thing and they asked me if changing my routine by sleeping early helped me in my daily life and i said yes 'cos i feel more focused and energised.

so dont give up! many girls tried soooo many times before they finally get in. but believe in yourself and as long as you show that you are willing to change for the better, they will know and acknowledge it! good luck!
I just finished the interview but failed the second round...
could it be my skin or that i don't look nice in kebaya? :???:

hi cheryl! dont be disheartened. many girls fail at this round. when you finish your kebaya round, they told you to go to the skin round while some girls dont even get to the skin round right? if in that case, it means you passed your kebaya.

but if every gal get to go through both tests, you gotta think about how you walked just now; how fitting the kebaya was. and regarding the skin test, do you have any pimples? did you use concealer well? in the morning before i went for interview, i make sure i did my makeup under yellow spot lights. 'cos that's the light that they use to check your skin. so make sure everything is covered even under the lights.

maybe you can talk about what you did just now?

serenade, I also do have some acnee scars. Alot of ppl just advise me to cover it properly with concealer. SIA may not wanna look for those with prefect & flawless skin. But at least they wanna see you making an effort to look good! During the skin check, there will be two big spotlight to check for such things.

I hope it will help you & i.

hi there llentimes,

I have acne scars too. And they make my skin look not as smooth, quite hard to conceal. your acne scars healing alr? For the chicken pox scar, its like an extra piece of meat on the surface, so I'm rather troubled. :(
Anw u gg for the interview tml? all the best! :)

serenade,
my acne scar are has been healing for the past 2 mths. But they all at my cheeks area, so very obivous. I have to put alot of concealer. My last attempt, i failed at skin-check. Nevertheless, I will still work hard to try again tmr.
For your chicken pox scar, I have no idea how it look like, but u shld conceal it as well. Maybe you can try doing some treatment to remove it??
U shld just conceal as much as possible and do your best okie!

thanks for your wishes, Good luck to u as well.
