I was so excited that I forgotten to ask Mary which batch did I belong to
So is there anyone that is starting the same day as me?
Hehe congrats pinklittlefigure! See you at STC soon! I hope can recognise you from the prev picture though hehe.

Have just looked at the requirements for Malaysian FS/FSS since writing the above, for some reason a minimum height is specified for males of 1.65m so you should be OK. How come you didn't look yourself?
http://www.singaporeair.com/saa/en_UK/c ... etails.jsp
from his original post which says he's above 1.65m (between 1.65m & 1.7m), i think he'd looked, but his concern is being the shortest male during the interview...
because i think the average asian/singaporean male is 1.7m? which is a little short, to be brutally honest, but heck, go for it since u meet the requirement...
Just try for it if you are above the minimum height requirement. I've seen stewards who are not exactly very tall. Not every steward is at least 1.75m in STC.
And so my journey begins...

Hehe there'll be lots of people in STC during breaktime, very difficult to find people.
Will PM you my number, easier to contact me then hehe.
Btw I think I'll be having my exam then, hopefully lunch time will be about the same time. See you!
And so my journey begins...

This is total
BS! They will
not take you regardless of your height, they specify a height for a reason, that reason is;
you have to be able to reach the overhead lockers which sometimes contain emergency equipment! This has been mentioned time and time again.
When i mean regardless of height i mean not like 162 for guys and so on like 164.5cm i guess they will still take u rite.. Depends on the people there.

I have seen posts on this board where people claim to have been rejected for being 0.5 cm below the required height.

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
