If you take 24 from Tanah Merah, Look out for a Shell station on the left (after passing Singapore Expo). Then drop at the 2nd Bus Stop upon seeing Shell. STC will be across the Main Road.
Hope this helps!

My apologies. I took "outing" to mean something else (the scolding of others or the divulging of personal information) I don't always have enough time to read 20 pages of quotes within quotes within quotes (it's silly and it just takes up useless quantities of pages for absolutely no reason). That's what happens when one moderates and tries to hold down a busy position as well.
Again, my apologies for misreading the post that had been quoted by Plavt.

No worries

Perhaps all of us mistaken outing as gathering and vice versa. Thanks for posting despite of your busy workload.
haha.. yea.. i was refering a simple meal since forumers are trying to get aspiring SQ FS and FSS to come together for a simple meal to share interview and training experiences..
anyway, thanks to the moderators for being a peace maker here despite your busy schedule.. i apologise for all the unnecessary arguments earlier..
mimidee: SIA's requirement at the medical is that you should not have more than 20 degrees of scoliosis.. so i guess if its not obvious when the kebaya is worn, or if its a mild case, it should be ok... =)

Hello everyone!
I`m currently studying in poly and grad'ing in another 2 yrs.
I read thru the threads and it seems like it's rather hard to go in as a cabin crew!
However i`m still interested to know the certain criterias that makes us stand a higher chance to be a Singapore Girl.
Anyone care to share? :p
Like i`ve heard of things like they will check that you have no scars and tanlines on your body etc.
And must be shapely to go through is it? I see all the cabin crew ladies all so shapely and pretty, abit pull down my self-esteem.
But i got 2 yrs to prepare for the interview! haha!

Both counter that I mentioned earlier (Shu Uemura & Bobbi Brown) are charging a standard SGD15 fee for eyebrow shaping. I definately recommend the Shu Uemura as she use to be a part of the grooming team for SIA

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
