Hi,
i read in previous entries that you can be blacklisted from trying for SIA interviews. Does it really exists? On what circumstances will SIA ban you from trying? Will SIA ban you if you try too frequently?

Honestly, no idea also about being blacklisted.
So far, SIA don't ban people from going for the interview unless they told the person so. But this usually applies for those who got to the mgmt round.
So if one was booted out before that round, there's no ban involve. Of course not supposed to try again during the same recruitment intake unless of course SIA ask you back to. But that rarely happens.
And so my journey begins...

Valentin wrote:Hi, i'm new to this forum. However, i have been reading this forum for about a month now. I went for my mgt round on the 3rd dec and cleared my medical also. However, till now i've not received a call. Is there anyone i can call to check up on my status? Thanks.

When we said cleared medical it means that the person from HR (which is usually Mary) has called to informed that your medical report is ok. And upon then, she'll inform you of your training date and batch.
So if you have not received the call, it means you have not cleared medical due to probably your availability date and notice period. They need to process those who can start training in Feb, Mar onwards, so if you are not available during this time, I suppose you have to wait for those to clear first.
And so my journey begins...

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.

They can come here but not so much for local going there.
