i think the venue should be a lil central so it'll be fair for everyone, no?
hmm. i think we should go for any of the 4 (minus bloogie) which can accomodate a table of say 20. which ones can accomodate us ah? haha.
erm, i was kiasu abit. i called swensens vivo and made a reservation for a table of 20. is that okayyyy? if it's not can always cancel.
Hey Hafiz thanks, I'm sure you will make it once the ban is lifted, I'm rooting for you all the way!
I'm fine with swensens at vivo, they can accomodate 20 of us for sure ya.
And so my journey begins...

How many times will they actually measure your height if you were short of 1cm? But after i wore the Kebaya she didn't ask me to change out immediately, it's only after the skin check that me and another girl was informed that we were not in.
In school i was 158cm though.. Haha.. i probably shrank..
Thanks for your help in answering my questions
hmm.. i dunno ye.. i took my height and weight twice..
once at during registration, second is during kebaya testing..
dun mind me asking.. how's your complexion?? teeth??
Hi Venie,
Think my complexion is pretty ok, doing lots of maintaining at home
But teeth.. one small problem. Not very obvious but there's a small gap in between. friend from SIA asked me to put invisible braces..
But will they accept if i told them that i'll be putting in march? Mine's really not very obvious but when i talk, will be able to see..
My dreams will all be fulfilled one day..

i don tink u look fat in the kebaya.. i tink u look great!! izzit becuz u walk too fast??
ya lor.. i failed my 1-1 interview.... haiz... donno what went wrong... was it the passage? or was it the answeri give?? haiz...
i'm happy and surprise that i can passed both first round and kebaya... but when i fail 1-1 ... can't help but feel so disappointed... =/
Have to start all over again.. wonder how will i fare on the 27th.. =/
Anyway.. i will be going for the 27th =D Keep in touch k? you can contact me at 90267800 ^^
Jia you k? hopefully 27th is the day our dream can come true.. ^^
Hey girl,
I think u look great too. Didnt really talk to you much but gave me the impression that you've got a great personality! Ying ying too. She looks sweet.
Dun lose heart ok? So near yet so far..
We shall pin our hope on 27th, my friend from SIA told me that they are really in need of staff so we do stand a great chance. Jia you =)
Sorry to hear that you were not able to pass this time round
keep trying if this is really what you want. Try tell them how much you wanted this job before you leave the room and of course you have to be sincere or be a really really good actores !! Don't give up, looking at your portfolio and looks she should be able to get it eventually
Go thru the questions that they ask during the 1-1 to find out what is their worries in hiring you. Afraid that you might not be committed and stay for long? You are having a good job now so you might not be able to take Stewardess life? Your background? etc once you found out the worries that they have about you then you can answer to their doubt during your next interview. All the best for your next interview
Hey abercrombie, thanks for the advice and will prove my sincerity to them.. This is a really great advice.. Dun think they'll have the heart to turn somebody down with enthusiasm and desire.
My SIA friend asked me not to give up my passion and i will keep the faith strong. Hope to be a sommelier with SIA in the future
(wonder if currently they have a female one )
To 2008 in SIA
My dreams will all be fulfilled one day..

i went to the interview today at the concord hotel in malaysia KL. and i were kick out in the 1st round. what they wan us to do is talk about what we know about customer service. i dun understand what i did wrong. and i really like to get in to this carrier. so, can they anyone give me some idea on how to go through their interview?
i was a bit nervous during my answer section, could it be the reason that i fail? however i think i speak load and clear enough. anyone can help?

Hi,
Anyone else going for 1st round interview on 15 Jan?
BTW, i'm glad that this forum exists because it's great to be able to share the passion, determination and aspiration that all of us have together.
Hope that we are all able to join SIA in year 2008! That, i believe is the greatest wish that we all hoped for this year! Hahaha!

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
