One more thing, does it really give an added advantage if you can speak a foreign language? I can speak thai. And how will they know if you can or if you're merely lying?

very similar to those medical checkup you need to do before a company will employ you..

basically is to ensure that you're fit to work.
Ah...thank you so much girl! Was completely clueless untill now. Anyways, what will the check up consist of? Blood test and stuff I suppose? Is BMI also a criteria? Cos I am a little on the light side.
height & weight
urine test
blood pressure test
eyesight & colorblindness test
chest x-ray

think you weightshould be fine la.. as long as you dun have any illness or any physical problem that will hinder your job as a cabin crew..
Any idea if they check the back?

Mine doesn't give me problems (i.e. aches or pains) but it might make my back look a lil unproportionate :( i'm worried..especially for kebaya round (thats if i manage to make it that far)

you can state your proficiency on the application form itself..

hmm..maybe during self-intro can also mention that.. could also use speak some simple thai to liven up your interview session..

always good to give the interviewer a good and deep impression..

but dun brag abt it k..:)

well.. den they will see if you have scoliosis ma.. (s-spine)

from the chest x-ray they will be able to tell how's your spine..

if necessary they will ask you to go back for another x-ray on your spine(this will be at your own expense)

if your curve degree is less than 20 den should be fine..

Thanks babe! you're giving me hope! :D Have you had any probs in kebaya round? My shoulders are fine. its just that my waist, one side's a lil higher than the other (might look like i'm putting my weight on one side, when i'm actually not). Walking slowly really might help in making this less noticeable. hopefully! *keeping my fingers crossed*

hello everybody,

first of all, congrats to everybody who have passed and good luck to those trying out!

i have a ques in mind, does anybody know if it is possible to start training with O levels results first instead of waiting for the diploma transcript? cause from what i know, the transcript might take a while to be out and i'm quite keen to start asap. :D

not all are tall super model kind de... average is standing @ 1.6m++
as long as you're 1.58m, you can pass.. :)
Hi Venie,

I have a problem.. When i went to the last interview, i was measured at 157cm but the lady still let me proceed to round 1. After i passed round 1, she wanted to take my height again. Then when the lancome lady took my height, the HR lady still say i'm not tall enough but the lancome lady still let me pass. But couldn't get pass after skin check.

How? U think i should still try for next interview? Do u think they are very strict on that last cm?

Appreciate your kind advice..
My dreams will all be fulfilled one day..
