omg...... I got a call this morning, they want an official letter from my school stating that I have completed Year 10... what in the world?? It's the 1st time in my 5 years of working experience that any employer requires additional proof of completion other than my semester 2 results. I'm befuddled, lol.

It won't be a prob getting it from the school eventually, but it's closed till 21st Jan.. still have to wait for them to prepare and send the letter. god.

A friend in SIA's advised me to speak to them again and request that they let me start training and get the school to produce the letter later. That makes much more sense, methinks. I'll give the lady a call again.

I just spoke to them again. They say die-die must produce letter before starting, my final semester results not enuff.. company policy.. bo pian lo, wait till 21st Jan then ring up the school and chase chase chase.. lol.

i sent in the application at abt 12 pm TODAY and got a reply from them at abt 3 PM TODAY.
interview on 3rd jan - sud be the first round.

i remember they mentioned that all successful applicants will be informed before 31st december. so don't give up yet. maybe want to try sending in again..?

Omg, the details on an interview which i can finally attend is out!

Since I grad in May08, I couldn't apply for the write-ins. And as much as I wanted to attend the Dec07 interviews, I was overseas.

So this is it!

Hey think can go in earlier and try for earlier slots cause there were some people who went in early and was allocated earlier timing for the interviews. Just don't tell the guards your timing if they didn't ask, cause last tm round some girls were asked to wait outside till it is their allocated time. I just walk to the guards and show them my pass and I was let in despite being early.

Anyway I doubt they can finish everything in a day, probably have to come back for mgmt another day later cause my group ended the 1 to 1 at about 4.30pm and my group started at about 1.30pm.

If there is, then it will be difficult to go earlier than our appointed time?

What if the guide ask for our appointment time?
Can we don't tell him the truth?

I was thinking if there have no record on who those candidates are, then its easier to go earlier.. hehe...

I don't think there is a namelist for the guards to check but for the admin people I believe they will have cause they need to know who didn't turn up ma.

As for what if the security guards ask for your timing, then really no choice. I wasn't asked so I reckon they also won't ask. So many people in a day coming for the interviews, there is no way they will really ask everyone right. So just walk in look at them in their eyes and tell them politely that you are coming for cabin crew interview. I should think they won't ask much. Of course don't forget to smile while doing that.

And how long you have to wait for mgmt depends on when you will be available to start the training once you pass mgmt. But I do know they have a mgmt interview on the 10th so perhaps you will be ask if you can attend that interview. Other dates, I won't have an idea already. Hope this helps.
