keke.. v embarrassed if ur being turned away .. that time i was already sitting v comfortably in e waiting area.. n only to be singled out half a hour later cos the staff there realised when they are checking the records..
im refering to my sept attempt ok..
the lady did warn me that even if i can pass e 1st round, but when come to e middle rounds when they found out that i came previously, they would blacklist me n never allow me to try again
but i wonder how true is that lor

But i've read that some girls here tried again despite the ban and got in! maybe it depends on whether they remember u or not. Anyway the ban only applies to those who failed at management right?
Happy new year to all!!

ya la, thats y im abit hesitant about going for e 27th jan one.. come to think about, 2 months isnt v long either.. u c, i tried in sept, missed oct , n then tried dec..
that time i think i failed sept one cos i was v skinny back in sept..my frame don look so nice.. i lost 8kgs (in total) due to braces..was standing at 38kg.. but i had gained back some 6kgs now. hehe..
further improvements to do.. got to brush up more on interview skills now..how to handle difficult scenerios n such.. n do my household chores more.. so that i wouldnt be lying about that this time

it looks like they're conducting interviews every month now so if u think u need more preparation then maybe you should wait for the next one

Omg, the details on an interview which i can finally attend is out!
Since I grad in May08, I couldn't apply for the write-ins. And as much as I wanted to attend the Dec07 interviews, I was overseas.
So this is it!
Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2008 will be the year we all fly!
So who's attending this one??

i believe that they do have a record of the dates that you tried.
coz i remb once SIA have 2 days walk-in, sat & sun.
i failed on sat and thot that i could try the sun as well, so i went.
while waiting inside, the staff called my name and told me i can't try 2 days, only once. and ask me to come back during the next intake.
but i dun think they record you fail at which round lo.. keke..
Soaring above all

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.

Sad day for many SIA crew, losing their jobs, hope they can soon get back to their jobs.
Pilots are taking 50-60% paycuts to keep their jobs.
