hmm.. it could be.. i remembered i have a friend who also said similar stuff.

it was her first time having a job interview so she din know what to expect.

when she was asked what she plans to do if she didn't get it, she said she wanna do business..

and she wasn't selected..

actually when you said your childhood dream is teacher can try to relate to cabin by saying that if one day you're too old to fly, you can still contribute to SIA by stepping down and be a trainer. A trainer is also like a teacher ar.. So you get to fufil another dream as well..

that was my ans :D

whatever you say always try to relate to SIA yea..

hi,

i truly understand your disappointment. its like after so many hrs of waiting and anticipating, u are back to square 1, its super demoralising, but trust me. have faith in yourself, keep trying and trying, if its your dream, i am very sure one day you will get in.

it doesnt matter how many times you tried, as long as u get in.

did u smile alot during the interview?
and dressing?
ya, i think so also. I did smile thoughtout and i am not sure if it's my teeth coz i have got crooked set of teeth but i believe it's not so bad since i passed the kabaya test.
i was in office wear, there was even a gal with skinny pants and flare top and she got in.

:) nvm, will try again next time.
:(

any idea any many interviewer are there in total for the management round?
do they sit very close to you during the interview?

Hi Hellokittylove,
There will be 2 interviewers and you will not sit very close to them, there will be a distance from their table.

hihi... what the reason for starting on a later date? normally they will only allow one month notice unless you are currently studying or waiting for ord..

So sorry to hear that missy_ee. Don't give up k, normal to be nervous since first time going in for mgmt round I made the same mistake too. At least now you know what they might ask and how you can phrase your answer to their liking next time. :)

Maybe can skip past the 6mths wait cause I think someone in this forum didn't wait for 6mths and went for another interview and got in. Cant recall her nick liao cause data corruption lost all prev info. Jiayou!
And so my journey begins... :)

Hey salvana, good luck for wednesday's mgmt round, be confident and smile! :)

If I am not wrong, you can choose to go for the check-up after your mgmt round.
And so my journey begins... :)

Hi peepz,

Am new around here but i've been reading the forum for quite some time. Went for the 1 dec interview but got cut at the kabaya fitting round. It's my first time though, so I'm determined to try again.

I last measured that my height was 158cm, but during the first height measurement at the interview, she recorded me at 167.5cm, then the kabaya fitting measured me at 156.9cm! Sigh.... wondering if i got booted out for my height...

Vernie, You went to the STAR course right? any comment about the course? I've already sent my particulars, now waiting for the next course to start.
