All the best k! you're turning 18 in Dec? wow just pass tmr and you'll be the youngest to join SIA if i'm not wrong! :D

To all the other lovely ladies going for Mgmt tmr, good luck once again! Just one step away and you'll be part of the SIA family!

I'm only into my 4th week of training but it's been really fun! The people are truly very nice and i have to admit the feeling of wearing your own kebaya for the first time, haha makes everything worth it la :P

Good luck!
autumn-reverie! i passed the mgt int! weeeee. :D

It's really hard to say. You may appeal to one interviewer but might come across as pompous to the other one. It's really whether you have mass appeal or not. That's my opinion. :)
well.. i guess i can only treat every recruitment as my very first attempt.. i wont keep my hopes too high this way.. but actually,i do agree that if there is a male in one of the interviewer, the passing rate is higher than 2 female in the panel..

just hope that the next attempt would be better..

anyway, congrats those who made it through today.. u guys were great!! good luck for your mgmt!! :D
hm..i had a male interviewer in my group but only 2 went into round 2.. so disappointed.. because they didn't even bother announcing the outcome to us properly..we're left standing there, waiting.. :-|

i'm pretty curious if one needs to look like a celebrity in order to be a steward/dess. can anyone clear me about this? i always have this thought that i'm reading messages here post by all the good looking people. and do candidates talk talk talk during the interview as if there's no tomorrow?
i personally don't look very fancy or attractive and don't talk like story teller either :( does keep on trying trying and trying again will eventually make the interviewers feel sorry for the candidates and finally let them in?
i haven't got the guts to even walk in for the first time. Afraid that i'll only lose confident when i see other better candidates around like you guys and girls here.

I have got a tattoo just above my butt crack. I turned around and they did not mention anything. But the guy checking me asked me to open my mouth to check my teeth.

He asked whether I smoked. I said no. He said my teeth was yellowish and asked me to do whitening. I smiled and said ok.

I was asked to do HIV test during medical round after asking about my past experience as cabin crew (CX) and I told him I am still with them but going to tender. He told me not to worry about the test if I take precaution always.

Anyways. Yup.

During wtc, few guys were booted out. All muscled type quite beefy ones.

i think the elimination of big sized guys seem to happen only in singapore...
when the recruitment was done here in malaysia, a number of us who have big built were given a chance for the management...including myself..i still wonder why...

don't think thats the case. saw one of them got kick out from our batch after the WCT. he was told to be measured on his height again and when the results were out, he is not in the list among those who got through. if i'm not mistaken thats the reason he was booted then.

All the preliminary rounds are usually conducted by HR people.. They can just eliminate you whenever they feel ur not suited....Big size or small size....we will never know the actual reason......

During my WTC, 2 guys, guess they are over weight in their BMI got booted out, one normal built guy got booted out too. Actually they dont look fat.. but may be their BMI is over the normal range.
