worrywart, i don't think it will be $1500 so high for a degree holder. Is less than that.

cythx, do you think i should ask them about my medical status and when do i start, tmr at the briefing, or should i just be patient?

i went for the 25th May interview, and went for the medical on the 26th May.

worrywart, how long is ur notice period needed to start the training? You write immidiate? For my opinion, I think you can wait for a while first. If after a certain period still got no news from them then only ask. I think like this will be better. :)

I wrote my notice as 1-2 weeks. how?

worrywart, don't worried. Once you pass everything... they will notify you about your starting date. You will start very soon. :)

Hmm, i know some people got their rejection letters pretty late, so i'm not exactly sure how long it takes for them to mail out =\

i cant swim! does it matter? is water confidence test part of the training or a test itself?

thzzz so much! (: how many days will all the interview takes? if for example we can only start in sept then can we go for june interview? thzzz

The interview will done all in one day. I think you can go for the walk in and just let them know you only can start in September if you manage to pass the management round. Coz I have a friend she pass the management round on April but until now she still not yet start her training. Hope it help.... :)

If you can't swim how are you going to help your passenger and most importantly yourself :???: SIA is neither going to teach you how to swim nor the few swimming session in the pool is going to give you any confidence. No doubt that you will be having a life jacket on you when you train but if you don't know how to swim you will never going to have confident in the water. Its your life after all, so you can choose what you think is right. Swimming is not a difficult skill to learn, why not just pick it up, it a survival skill after all :wink:

1-2 days depending on the crowd. 3 months, no problem :cool:
